in the Bible
■ Why is the road that leads to life small and narrow? (Mt 7:13-14)
■ Because the pastors of Israel shut off the kingdom of heaven from men; for they do not enter in themselves, nor do they allow those who are entering to go in (Mt 23:13).

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.
