Shincheonji Chairman 'Man Hee Lee' Special Lecture

There is a saying in the Bible.
Hear this, all you peoples; listen, all who live in this world, -Psalms 49:1
The Mighty One, God, the LORD, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets.
From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth.
-Psalms 50:1-2

※ As Revelation 22:16 says, I hope you will be all of you who come out toward the light(Jn 1:9 ) when God(Word, Jn 1:1) calls you, listening to the messenger sent by Jesus.
"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star." Rev 22:16

Shincheonji Seminar [Lesson 2] Bible Basics & Man Hee Lee Quotes

Shincheonji Online Seminar
[Lesson 2] The Basics of the Bible
&
Quotes of Man Hee Lee, Shincheonji Chairman

What is the most difficult book you read often?

I think the book that people often read but think is the most difficult is the Bible.
If God does not show you the meaning, it is the book that cannot be understood by human thoughts.

Because the book is the word of spirit and the book of God.
And the Bible is the book of the covenant.

The covenant God established between Himself and the Israelites was the Ten Commandments (Ex 19:5-6) in the Old Testament.
And the new covenant God made through Jesus, which cannot be added nor taken away from (Rev 22:18-19), is the word of Revelation (Rev 1:1-3).

The era of Adam, Noah, Moses, and the Israelites, who were the descendants of Abraham all came to an end because they did not keep the covenant made with God.
The covenant we, the believers, must keep today is Revelation, which is the new covenant and the New Testament.

Testimony on the Parables of the Secrets of Heaven and Their Ture Meanings

Shincheonji Chairman, Man Hee Lee Quotes
I want anyone and everyone to converse with the Bible.

Shincheonji (the promised pastor) was sent to the churches according to the command of the God of Revelation and received the open book of revelation to spread prophecy, fulfillment, and the actual entities. Shincheonji also fought against the group of the dragon and false pastors and won with Jesus’ blood and the words of testimony.

Everyone who are believers, if you are looking into the Bible thinking you will gain eternal life from it, you will achieve your goal if you find the pastor through the Bible that Jesus promised in the New Testament and accept his testimony.

  • Revelation 22:16
"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."
Every church can only become people of heaven, the chosen people of the promise, if they meet the promised pastor of the New Testament (Rv 22:16), receive the testimony of Revelation, and register in the Twelve Tribes of Shincheonji, the promised kingdom.
If you want to meet the promised pastor of the New Testament (Rv 22:16), and receive the testimony of Revelation, please click the link below to apply for free Bible study online.

Bible, Old and New Testament

In the Bible,
Old Testament and
New Testament

Matthew testified like this about the birth of Jesus.
Isaiah 7:14, the prophecy of the Old Testament, which refers to the fact that a virgin gave birth to a son, was actually fulfilled.

πŸŽ‚ The birth of Jesus Christ
  • Matthew 1:18-23
18. This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.
19.Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
20. But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
21. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
22. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:
23. "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"--which means, "God with us."

2,000years ago, John the Apostle saw the fantasy in Chapter 12 and recorded the birth of the child(the one who overcamer) like this.

πŸŽ‚ The birth of a child at the fulfillment of Revelation
  • Revelation 12:1-5
1.A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.
2.She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.
3.Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads.
4.His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born.
5.She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.

※ And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. (Rev 13:6)

Beginng from the time of Jesus' birth, the world of faith was divided into a physical world and a spiritual world. Before Jesus, the fleshly Israel following Abraham's lineage was God's chosen people, but after Jesus, God's spiritual lineage, the spiritual Israel of the Holy Spirit, became the chosen people. (Refer to John 1:11-13)

The Old Testament is a promise and a record about "Messiah who will come."
The New Testament is a promise and a record about "Messiah who will come again."
So do you, who are reading this article, believe in the promise of Messiah who will come again?
Two thousand years ago, Jesus was the promise pastor that came with the promise of the Old Testament. For God in Jesus has fulfilled his promise to the Old Testament.
  • John 14:10
Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. (※ John 10:30 I and the Father are one.")
Notice here(in New Testament) that Jesus is sending someone at the Second Coming, and also check it in Revelation.
  • John 13:19-20
19 "I am telling you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe that I am He. (= John 14:29, 10:30)
20 I tell you the truth, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me."
  • John 16:7
But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
Finally, as he promised in the Bible, Jesus sends his messenger in Revelation 22:16.
  • Revelation 22:16
"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."
And then, the messenger of Jesus ...... He kept bore witness to the word of God and to the testamony of Jesus Christ to all things that he saw.

  • Revelation 1:2
who testifies to everything he saw--that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Did you meet the promised pastor who Jesus sent for the churches today as he said in Rev 22:16, and have you received evidence from him of the words as recorded in Revelation 1:2?

Categorizing Contents of Bible

Categorizing Contents of Bible

  • The form division of the Bible
The Bible is divided into the Old and New Testaments.
The Old Testament consists of 39 books that were recorded by God's prophets before Jesus' first coming. The New testament consists of 27 books recorded by apostles after Jesus' first coming. The Bible, therefore, includes a total of 66 books.

  • The period of the Bible history
The time between Adam and Abraham covers about 2,000 years; another 2,000 years passed between Abraham and Jesus. Now, since it has been approximately 2,000 years since Jesus' first coming, the Bible encompasses about 6,000 years of history.

  • The contents of the Bible
The contents of the Bible can be divided into four categories: history, teachings, prophecy, and fulfillment. Prophecies concern future events. Prophecies are written in figurative language and are always fulfilled according to the logic of betrayal, destruction, and salvation(2 Thess 2:1-3). New Testament prophecies, in particular, use the names of people and places mentioned in the Old Testament figuratively.

Why all must know the prophecies and their fulfillment.

Shincheonji Bible Teaching: Jesus and Revelation

<Shincheonji Bible Teachig>
After Jesus' Ascension
and His Promise of Revelation

After his Ascension, Jesus gave us the Book of Revelation through his disciple, John. This book is a comprehensive summary of the New Testament and what was to be fulfilled in the future.

In today’s era, about 2,000 years after, the promises of Revelation were fulfilled at the ends of the earth, in Republic of Korea in the East in Asia. Jesus sent his messenger for the churches to testify to these
(the fulfillment of Revelation) (Rv 22:16).

Revelation is the summary of the promise God made in the New Testament. God made this promise so that when it does happen we will believe (Jn 14:29).

Just as Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament at the First Coming (Jn 19:30), he also fulfills the New Testament at the Second Coming (Rv 21:6).

The people at the First Coming (the Jews) persecuted and killed Jesus, whom God was with, because they did not know that all of the Old Testament was fulfilling at that time.  Likewise, if one does not know that the New Testament is fulfilling at the Second Coming, they will also persecute in the same way Jesus was persecuted at the First Coming.

'Jesus Fulfilled' in the Bible

Jesus fulfilled
in the Old Testament
& New Testament

When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.”
With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
<John 19:30>

A promise of the Old Testament that was prophesied by Jeremiah was fulfilled through Jesus at the time of the first coming (Jeremiah 31:27). Out of the two kinds of seed, one was the seed of God and the other was the seed of Satan (Mt 13:24-25).

After sowing the seed of God, Jesus prophesied that he will come back to harvest the seed after it is fully matured. Also, before Jesus ascended into heaven, Jesus promised to create a new people, twelve tribes. (Mt 24:29-31).

As a result, Jesus came back to the earth to do the work of harvest (Revelation 14:14-16) according to his promise.

Jesus harvested the first fruits by sealing them with the word of God and created his new people. In this same way, as Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of the Old Testament, he is fulfilling the promises written in the New Testament (John 19:30, Revelation 21:6).

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.
To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.
<Revelation 21:6>

Shincheonji Teaching: Isaiah in Old Teatament

Old Testament(Isaiah 2:1-4) Infroming by Shincheonji

Isaiah 2:1-4
  • Verses 2-3 :
In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say, ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.’ The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

  • Verse 4 :
He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.

‘The last days’ in verse 2 is the end of the age, and ‘the mountain of the Lord’s temple’ is God’s temple. It is ‘chief among the mountains because it has the highest truth. Many will congregate there at that time because they will learn his ways there, which is the word of revelation.

As seen in Isaiah 1, God brings the betrayers and destroyers to an end by judging them. While this judgment happens, those who return to the right track, (i.e. those who escape out of the place of destroyers) (refer to Mt 24:15-16; Rv 17:14; 18:4; 15:2-4) become Mount Zion (i.e. Jerusalem) in chapter 2. Because God is with these people, this place becomes the mountain (temple) of the highest grade.

This mountain is spiritual Mount Zion and the temple of new Jerusalem. God dwells at this temple; it is God’s kingdom (heaven). It is said that all nations will stream here and learn his ways, that is, the word of revelation. Both the law (God’s law) and the word will go out from here (new Jerusalem, Mount Zion) where God is.

In the Second Coming, the place where many peoples will come to is the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, where the one who overcomes is. This very place is God’s mountain, the temple of the God of Jacob (the one who overcame). At this Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, there is the one who overcomes, whom the Counselor, the Spirit of truth, is one with. Thus, He is the Counselor in flesh. He teaches the congregation members with the revealed word of the New Testament. This is the law and the word going out from Mount Zion, from Jerusalem. Many people gather here to receive this teaching.

After the chosen people were destroyed due to their betrayal, there was a war.
Once the war finishes, however, there is harvest, and the weapons that were used in the war, such as spears and swords, will be made into sickles to be used for harvest (refer to Rv 14:14-16). Both the war and judgment has passed; now we are waiting for the completion of harvest, and the Sabbath-rest.

From Isaiah 1 to Isaiah 2:4 is the conclusion and summary of the 66 chapters of Isaiah.

This happened (fulfilled) at the First Coming of Jesus, and happens again today, which is the end of the age in the New Testament. The church of Jesus has been brought to an end, and harvest has begun!

Those who believe this will know where to go to live. Those who have been harvested have crossed over from death to life.
