Shincheonji Teaching: 'Revelation'

<Shincheonji Teaching>
"Revelation"

We should listen carefully to the message explaining that God speaks the truth and the devil speaks lies.

The time when Revelation is testified is the time when the prophecies of Revelation are fulfilled in reality. At this time, the realities of the prophecies are testified in accordance with the words of the prophecies.

Revelation can only be known and be testified by the one who receives and eats the revealed book, and sees what has been fulfilled according to the Book of Revelation. It is a lie if someone who didn't see, hear, and know the fulfillment says this and that.

God testifies the truth about prophecies He made and the fulfillment of those prophecies in accordance with the promise. In contrast, the devil spreads lies by saying, “This is this. That is that,” based on arbitrary interpretations, as he has neither seen nor known anything. One who is born of God’s seed will believe in the word of God and Its realities, but one who is born of the seed of the devil will believe in the lies of the devil.

We should listen carefully to the message explaining that God speaks the truth and the devil speaks lies!!!

Shincheonji Bible Teaching: Jesus and Revelation

<Shincheonji Bible Teachig>
After Jesus' Ascension
and His Promise of Revelation

After his Ascension, Jesus gave us the Book of Revelation through his disciple, John. This book is a comprehensive summary of the New Testament and what was to be fulfilled in the future.

In today’s era, about 2,000 years after, the promises of Revelation were fulfilled at the ends of the earth, in Republic of Korea in the East in Asia. Jesus sent his messenger for the churches to testify to these
(the fulfillment of Revelation) (Rv 22:16).

Revelation is the summary of the promise God made in the New Testament. God made this promise so that when it does happen we will believe (Jn 14:29).

Just as Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament at the First Coming (Jn 19:30), he also fulfills the New Testament at the Second Coming (Rv 21:6).

The people at the First Coming (the Jews) persecuted and killed Jesus, whom God was with, because they did not know that all of the Old Testament was fulfilling at that time.  Likewise, if one does not know that the New Testament is fulfilling at the Second Coming, they will also persecute in the same way Jesus was persecuted at the First Coming.

Shincheonji Teaching: God Created World of Peace

Shincheonji Teaching,
God Created
World of Peace

God created this world as a world of peace

God created this world as paradise and a world of peace.

However, one of His creations (creatures) betrayed Him, became an archenemy god and confronted His work. God referred to this arch enemy god as ‘dragon, Satan, the devil and serpent’ (Rv 12:9, 20:2). God has been waging war against the dragon for 6,000 years on this earth. Since the war began, there has been no peace in His kingdom, but there were only afflictions, agony and death.

To this world, Jesus came as the king of peace, but the chosen people of Israel did not accept him but instead persecuted and killed him. Because of this sin, the sun, moon and stars became darkened and fell from the sky, and Jesus prophesied that not one stone here would be left on another, and everyone would be thrown down (Mt 24:1-2, 29).

This prophecy of the New Testament has come true today, and so will the churches and their congregations meet their doom (refer to Mt 13, 24).

God created world as paradise and a world of peace.

Shincheonji Teaching: Work of True Pastor & Kingdom of Peace

<Shincheonji Teaching>
The Work that the True Pastor
& the Kingdom of Peace

The time of God’s promise has dawned as what was promised has been fulfilled. Finally, it has become the new era which God reigns. Only when the corrupt religions throw themselves away and come before God—and only when they become one religion under God—the believers, all of humanity, and the pastors can receive salvation and avoid destruction.

Therefore, all religions leaders born in this era must follow God’s will and fulfill their duty in unifying all religions. They must bring cessation of war and achieve world peace for the future generations to receive the world of peace as their inheritance. This is our duty, and the work that the true pastor who belongs to God must do.

Let us gather our strength and tear down the walls between us. Let us hold each other’s hands and become God’s messengers of peace to establish the kingdom of peace, so that it can be the kingdom of heaven God reigns.

Shincheonji, The Kingdom of Peace

Shincheonji,
The Kingdom of Peace
God Reigns

<Shincheonji Teaching>

Just because something is called a religion, it does not make it one. But rather, a religion must have promise and fulfillment. Can a person be called a pastor if God does not share His revelation with him? The pastors do not know the meaning of their religious scripture, their followers cannot walk on the way of righteousness, and religion is only adding on corruption upon corruption. Religion became corrupt today and the will of the true God is nowhere to be found.

The pastors are doing their ministries based on the commentaries with their arbitrary judgment instead of the Bible, considering the commentaries as their gods. They have the Bible, the Book of God, but it only became a useless thing. There is no one who walks with God, no righteous truth, and no messenger who speaks God’s Word—this is the end of religion.

In the midst of such an era, the time of God’s promise has dawned as what was promised has been fulfilled. Finally, it has become the new era which God reigns. Only when the corrupt religions throw themselves away and come before God—and only when they become one religion under God—the believers, all of humanity, and the pastors can receive salvation and avoid destruction!!

[Shincheonji Teaching] Religion & Bible & God

True Religion was Created by God
The Bible was Authored by God

<Shincheonji Teaching>
Religion & Bible & God

True religion was created by the one and only God.
There are two types of spirits (gods) in the world: holy spirits and evil spirits.

Both kinds of spirits enter people and work through them. When different types of spirits enter two groups of people, the groups fight against each other (Jn 8).

How can we distinguish people whom holy spirits have entered and people whom evil spirits have entered? This is a problem we must solve.

The Bible, which was authored by God, is a book that recounts the activities of people through whom the spirit of God was working and others through whom evil spirits belonging to the devil were working.

People who know the Bible can use it to discern the spirits dwelling in each group of people (1 Jn 4:1-6).
Believers must be know and believe the Bible.
People who do not know and believe the Bible cannot be considered true believers.

[Shincheonji Teaching] Bible Master

<Shincheonji Teaching>

"Bible Master"

The Bible, which was authored by God, is in this Bible that recounts the activities of people through whom the spirit of God was working and others through whom evil spirits belonging to the devil were working.

People who know the Bible can use it to discern the spirits dwelling in each group of people (1 Jn 4:1-6). Believers must be know and believe the Bible. People who do not know and believe the Bible cannot be considered true believers.

We, the people of Shincheonji, have mastered the Bible.

No one else has ever been able to do this (1 Cor 2:10).
We have been sealed by the revealed word (Rv 7).
God’s kingdom and priests are promised for us (Rv 1:5-6; Rv 5:9-10).
We have fulfilled and are fulfilling the prophecies of the Bible without adding to or subtracting from them (Rv 21:6; Rv 22:18-19).

True Christians must love Christianity and keep Jesus’ commands (Jn 14:23; Rv 1:3).

The Bible, which was authored by God, is in this Bible that recounts the activities of people through whom
the spirit of God was working and others through whom evil spirits belonging to the devil were working.
People who know the Bible can use it to discern the spirits dwelling in each group of people (1 Jn 4:1-6).

Believers must be know and believe the Bible!!
People who do not know and believe the Bible cannot be considered true believers.

[Shincheonji Teaching] Promise of God & Bible

 [Shincheonji Teaching]
God and the Bible Promise that ...

True religion belongs to the heavens. It is not a worldly knowledge or a culture of the earth,
but the Word of God that is learned from God. Today one can only receive salvation
if he believes and keeps the promises of heaven. And God and the Bible promise
that there will be a kingdom, people, and a pastor of God.

Among the many religious scriptures, only the Christian Bible has prophecies and fulfillment of a kingdom, people, and a pastor. Catholicism, Protestantism, Lutheranism, the Anglican Church, and the Orthodox Church are factions of Christianity that use the Bible to carry out their life of faith.

However, just as it is recorded in Revelation 5, no one from these groups has been able to understand the meaning of the New Testament prophecies. The only one who understands them is the promised pastor of this era. Except for the Christian Bible, the religious scriptures of the world are not promises made through a revelation from the true God. They are merely teachings of the earth, products of arbitrary cultures of the world.

True religion belongs to the heavens. It is not a worldly knowledge or a culture of the earth, but the Word of God that is learned from God. Today one can only receive salvation if he believes and keeps the promises of heaven. And God and the Bible promise that there will be a kingdom, people, and a pastor of God.

Jesus’ blood was shed 2,000 years ago to redeem the promised kingdom and people from sin. This is the promise of God, and they are the kingdom, people, and pastor born of God’s seed. They are the people who are qualified to receive salvation.

Shincheonji, Jesus Teaching: Matthew 7:21

Shincheonji,
Jesus Teaching:
Matthew 7:21 Word

Not everyone who says, “Lord, Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of God~!

Jesus said, “By their fruit you will recognize them” and “not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”

Jesus also said, “Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’

Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ Ultimately, Jesus said that anyone who listens to the Lord and keeps his commands will be saved.

Shincheonji Teaching: The Lord’s Prayer, Mt 6

Shincheonji Teaching:
The Lord’s Prayer, Mt 6

Main reference: Mt 6

What is the true meaning of the Lord’s prayer, and what are his kingdom and his righteousness referring to?

After the choosing of the disciples, starting in Matthew 5, Jesus gave us commands to keep as believers. One of them is the Lord’s prayer (Mt 6:9~13). He also said to seek first his kingdom and his righteousness (Mt 6:33). These are the two main points of Matthew 6.

After seeing the way in which the hypocrites prayed and gave to the needy, Jesus told his disciples not to do these things to be seen by men as they (hypocrites) do, but to pray to God who is unseen. He then told us what we should pray (Mt 6:1~13).

This prayer is the Lord’s prayer that many believers recite at the end of worship services. They do so with their mouths without knowing its meaning. If one does not follow through with their prayer in action, one is a liar to God. He listens to our prayers only if we act as well.

 1) Mt 6:9  Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name

① In heaven
Where is the ‘heaven’ at which God resides? The place in Revelation 4 where God’s throne is located is the spiritual heaven. God coming to Jesus at the First Coming (Mt 3:16~17; 4:17) was the spiritual heaven coming down to earth.
Also, Rv 13:6, the ‘tabernacle’ on earth on which heaven came down was called ‘heaven’ as well. The reason is that just as the sun, moon, and the stars are in the sky, Israel, who are God’s chosen people, were figuratively referred to as the sun, moon, and the stars, and thus, God’s tabernacle was heaven, the spiritual sky (Gn 37:9~11; Rv 13:6; 12:1; 15:1, 5; Mt 13:24).

② Our Father
In John 8, when the Jews claimed that God was their father, Jesus said to them that their father is not the true God, but the lying devil (Jn 8:41-44). This was because they were born of the seed of the devil (liar).
Only by being born of God’s seed, which is his word (Lk 8:11), can one call God ‘father’. Furthermore, God will only acknowledge those born of his seed as his sons (children). God doesn’t just automatically become the father of someone born of the devil’s seed just because he calls (the true) God his father. Neither can he just automatically become God’s son.

③ Hallowed be your name
God is the creator of the heavens and the earth. He has no sin; he is the light of righteousness and life. He is the Lord who judges between righteousness and wickedness. He is also the owner of all nations and all creation. God is truly a holy and flawless being. It is only logical that his creation reveres and praises God’s holiness as he deserves.

2) Mt 6: 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

① Your kingdom come
This is praying for the spiritual heaven to come down to and unite with the tabernacle of heaven on earth. It is also praying for God, who left the world, to come down to the recreated kingdom (tabernacle) on earth.

② Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Moses (Ex 25) and Jesus (Jn 5) fulfilled on earth just as they saw in heaven. In the same way, at the Second Coming, the one who fights against and overcomes the devil (the promised pastor) sees the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, in Revelation 21 and 4. He then fulfills it (Rv 3:12).

3) Mt 6:11 Give us today our daily bread

In the time of Moses, until they entered into Canaan, produced their own crop, and settled in the land, God gave the people of Israel manna from heaven every morning (Ex 16:14~36). Jesus said, however, that although the forefathers ate the manna that Moses gave, they died; but that he gives the food that does not spoil, that endures to eternal life. He said that this food was the living bread from heaven, his flesh and blood (Jn 6). Jesus himself is also the ‘Word’ as seen in 1 John 1.
The true daily bread that Jesus gives is the revealed word of the New Testament. This revelation was sealed in God’s right hand in Revelation 5, but Jesus opened it starting in Revelation 6, and thus, gave it as ‘the manna from heaven’, as the real food that endures to eternal life. The one who overcomes (i.e. the New John) in Revelation 10 is the only one through whom we can receive this (revelation).

4) Mt 6:12  Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors

⇒ Refer to the explanations of verses 14~15

5) Mt 6: 13 Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

① Lead us not into temptation
Jesus told us to pray this because he knew what would take place at his Second Coming. As seen in Matthew 24, nations will rise against nations and kingdom against kingdom. At that time, many fall into deception and temptation so as to betray each other; and as there is an increase of evil, the destroyer stands on the pulpit. He is telling us to pray to not fall into these temptations and trials.

② But deliver us from the evil one
He is telling us to pray for deliverance from the destroyer during when he strikes and overtakes the chosen people.

③ For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
It is only proper for the power and the glory to be God’s because he is the creator of everything, the Lord of all, and the Lord of lords (1 Cor 15:28; Ep 4:6; 1 Tm 6:15). All created things must befittingly give glory to the maker (creator) of all beings.

● Mt 6: 14-15  For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. *But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Jesus spoke about forgiveness as follows.
In Matthew 18:21-35, the one whose master canceled his debt of ten thousand talents did not forgive his servant who owed him a hundred denarii, but had him thrown into prison until he could pay back the debt. The master, having heard this, called in the one whose debt he canceled, and asked why he threw his servant in prison instead of canceling his debt of a hundred denarii, when the master has canceled his own debt entirely. He then said that he too shall be thrown into jail, until he should pay back all that he owed.
This is a moral teaching regarding forgiveness. One who does not forgive others will not be forgiven.

Mt 6: 33  Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness.

What kingdom is this referring to? It is indeed referring to heaven. One cannot see or touch this heaven. Expressed in parables, heaven comes down on the tree that grows from a seed (Mt 13:31~32). This heaven also comes down on the one who overcomes (Rv 3:12). God’s kingdom (heaven) fulfills here on earth as it is in heaven, and it is to this place that heaven (above) comes down. This heaven is the kingdom that he told us to seek. This kingdom is the sealed twelve tribes of New Spiritual Israel (Rv 7, 14). We must seek and find this kingdom which God and the angels are with. Furthermore, ‘his righteousness’ that we must seek is the revealed word (Rv 10; 14:1~5) and faith, both of which can be found at this kingdom.

God’s will, as well as the objective of our faith that the 66 books of the Bible points to, is the twelve tribes of New Spiritual Israel, the kingdom that is created here on earth as it is heaven. This is the place we as believers must go to.

Shincheonji Teaching, Fulfillment of Revelation

Shincheonji Teaching,
Fulfillment of Revelation

  • Main references: Rv 1:1~3

Shincheonji Teaching:
Revelation is the new covenant
Revelation is the New Testament, in other words, the new covenant. This new covenant was made with the blood of Jesus (Mt 26:26-29, Lk 22:14-20).

If the people at the time of Adam and Moses did not receive salvation for not keeping the covenant, can the people who do not believe or keep the new covenant, fulfillment of Revelation today receive salvation? No one should blame Adam and the physical Israelites for not keeping the covenant of God and violating it (Hos 6:7).

They must examine themselves instead and realize that they did not keep the promise but have violated it  also. Although God gave the command to not add or take away from the revelation, many have added and taken away from it. God commanded us to read and keep the words that are written in the Scriptures but many have not kept it. Thus, it is obvious that they have violated the new covenant.

Revelation is the new covenant that Jesus made with his blood. He said that he who reads the words of the prophecy and those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it are blessed (Rv 1:1-3), for they will be a kingdom and priests of God (Rv 1:5-6).

Shincheonji Teaching: The Spirit of Truth and the Promised Pastor

The Spirit of Truth, the Counselor
and the Promised Pastor

Main reference: Jn 17:17

What is the relationship between the Spirit of truth, the Counselor and the promised pastor?

Truth is the word of God (Jn 17:17), the “holy spirit” refers to a spirit that is holy, “the Counselor” means a teacher who protects with grace, and “the promised pastor” is the pastor who is promised (prophesied) in advance before God’s promise is fulfilled.

As it is recorded, both the Spirit of truth and the promised pastor are entities that will appear in the future as Jesus prophesied. The promised pastor who speaks on behalf of Jesus is the one all the saints must meet at the appointed time.

The Counselor, the Spirit of truth, came in the name of Jesus (Jn 14:26). Jesus came in the name of God (Jn 5:43), and Jesus said that anyone who sees him has seen the Father (Jn 14:8-10). Is it wrong for the pastor who becomes one with the Spirit of truth, the Counselor, to call himself the Counselor? Isn’t this pastor together with the Spirit of truth? And together, aren’t they the teacher who protects with grace? Answer this. If not, then by this logic, Jesus whom God dwelled with cannot be the Counselor or the Advocate. The Spirit of truth who becomes one with the promised pastor and the pastor who speaks on behalf of Jesus are both Counselors.

The promised pastor who becomes one with the Spirit of truth, the Counselor, is the teacher who protects the congregation with grace. He is the pastor who pours down much grace upon them. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of truth, the Counselor, in him, technically cannot be considered as a believer of God even if he claims to carry a life of faith. How can he have any connections with God if he does not have God’s spirit dwelling in him?
Believers led by the holy Spirit can work while having faith in the holy Spirit.

Shincheonji Teaching: Savior ... in the Bible

Shincheonji Teaching:
Savior is ... in the Bible

The one who carries out these actions is the savior, the pastor of God, who establishes God’s kingdom, Shincheonji (New Heaven and Earth) Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of Testimony.

The physical fulfillment (the real entities and their behaviors) has appeared according to a logical order of the prophecy as recorded in the bible. The book of Revelation is to be fulfilled without being added or subtracted from it (refer to Rv 22:18-19). The one who sees and hears its physical fulfillment, and who testifies about it according to the command, is the savior and the one who overcomes who has created the twelve tribes of God’s new kingdom, Shincheonji.

If you truly believe in God, his prophecy, and fulfillment, you must come and verify it. By believing in them, you can become the people of heaven. This is the testimony from the one who has seen and heard!

Prophecy is the word spoken before it is fulfilled.

Fulfillment is the word that speaks about how prophecy is fulfilled.

A promised pastor is someone who is to witness and testify about the fulfillment when the prophecy is fulfilled. He is the pastor promised in the Bible.

Shincheonji Teaching: John 8, Truth & Freedom

Shincheonji Teaching,
John 8:
The Truth and Freedom

Shincheonji is giving them the opportunity to be born again by giving them the truth.

Main reference: John 8:32-55

Jesus said to the Jews “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free”. The Jews replied to this, saying, “We are Abraham's descendants and have never been slaves of anyone”. Then Jesus said, “Everyone who sins is a slave to sin”. Then he said, “A slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed”. He also said, “I know you are Abraham's descendants. Yet you are ready to kill me”. Jesus said again to the Jews, who were Abraham’s descendants, “I am telling you what I have seen in the Father's presence, and you do what you have heard from your father”.

Jesus said to the Jews that His father was different from the father of the Jews and that His father was God but the father of the Jews was the Devil. He was not talking about physical fathers, but saying that the spiritual fathers of the two were different. This means that although both Jesus and the Jews had bodies of flesh, the spirits in them and their fathers were different.

Even today, although people of The Christian Council of Korea (CCK) and congregation members of Shincheonji have bodies of flesh, they have different spirits and spiritual seeds in them, so their fathers are different as well. That is why people of CCK are persecuting and trying to kill congregation members of Shincheonji and have declared war against Shincheonji. If we make known the truth to them, the truth will set them free. We are aware that as they do not have the truth in them, they were unable to become people of freedom, instead, they became slaves to sin and therefore became our enemies. It is only possible for them to be free from sin and to escape from the Devil, their father, if the truth is in them.

Shincheonji is giving them the opportunity to be born again by giving them the truth. I am not speaking of my own accord and the words I say are not just my own. Rather, the Father who sent me commanded me to say these words. Now is the time of the end of Spiritual Israel and the time of re-creation. Only when one is harvested, sealed and born again, the true God will be his/her father and one who is born again will be a child of God.

Shincheonji Teaching: about 'Sin', Hosea 6:7

Shincheonji Teaching:
About 'Sin',
In Hosea 6:7

In Hosea 6:7, Sin is not keeping God’s covenant, like Adam

If we look at the recorded words in Genesis chapter 1of Old Testament literally as the creation of nature, there will be many things that are hard to understand.

Jesus at the time of the New Testament also spoke of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven in parables, not in plain language (Mt 13:34-35).

The cause of the corruption of Adam’s world, Noah’s world, and Moses’ world, Abraham’s descendants, was Satan’s schemes.

The flesh, ignorant of the spirits and Satan’s deception, did not know and thus, committed sin.

Sin is not keeping God’s covenant, like Adam (Hos 6:7)

They sinned, because they were born in the hereditary line of a betrayer, a sinner.

Jesus told the Jews in John chapter 8, “You are doing the things your own father (devil) does” (Jn 8:41-44).

And he told them to be born again by God’s seed and spirit (Jn 3:1-6).

They did Satan’s actions through the characteristics of the spirit of Satan and his deception.

As a result, one must be reborn by God’s seed and spirit.

Shincheonji Teaching: Isaiah in Old Teatament

Old Testament(Isaiah 2:1-4) Infroming by Shincheonji

Isaiah 2:1-4
  • Verses 2-3 :
In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say, ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.’ The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

  • Verse 4 :
He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.

‘The last days’ in verse 2 is the end of the age, and ‘the mountain of the Lord’s temple’ is God’s temple. It is ‘chief among the mountains because it has the highest truth. Many will congregate there at that time because they will learn his ways there, which is the word of revelation.

As seen in Isaiah 1, God brings the betrayers and destroyers to an end by judging them. While this judgment happens, those who return to the right track, (i.e. those who escape out of the place of destroyers) (refer to Mt 24:15-16; Rv 17:14; 18:4; 15:2-4) become Mount Zion (i.e. Jerusalem) in chapter 2. Because God is with these people, this place becomes the mountain (temple) of the highest grade.

This mountain is spiritual Mount Zion and the temple of new Jerusalem. God dwells at this temple; it is God’s kingdom (heaven). It is said that all nations will stream here and learn his ways, that is, the word of revelation. Both the law (God’s law) and the word will go out from here (new Jerusalem, Mount Zion) where God is.

In the Second Coming, the place where many peoples will come to is the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, where the one who overcomes is. This very place is God’s mountain, the temple of the God of Jacob (the one who overcame). At this Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, there is the one who overcomes, whom the Counselor, the Spirit of truth, is one with. Thus, He is the Counselor in flesh. He teaches the congregation members with the revealed word of the New Testament. This is the law and the word going out from Mount Zion, from Jerusalem. Many people gather here to receive this teaching.

After the chosen people were destroyed due to their betrayal, there was a war.
Once the war finishes, however, there is harvest, and the weapons that were used in the war, such as spears and swords, will be made into sickles to be used for harvest (refer to Rv 14:14-16). Both the war and judgment has passed; now we are waiting for the completion of harvest, and the Sabbath-rest.

From Isaiah 1 to Isaiah 2:4 is the conclusion and summary of the 66 chapters of Isaiah.

This happened (fulfilled) at the First Coming of Jesus, and happens again today, which is the end of the age in the New Testament. The church of Jesus has been brought to an end, and harvest has begun!

Those who believe this will know where to go to live. Those who have been harvested have crossed over from death to life.

Shincheonji Teaching: Another Counselor & Promised Pastor

Shincheonji Teaching:
The Another Counselor
and the Promised Pastor

Jesus asked God for another Counselor (Jn 14:16-17), so God sent the Spirit of truth.
Because the Spirit of truth dwells in a person (Jn 14:17) and speaks through that person
(promised pastor), the promised pastor becomes the Counselor and the Advocate.

Main reference: Jn 16:8-15, Jn 14:26

Jesus, the promised pastor at the First Coming, was the Advocate who spoke on God’s behalf (1Jn 2:1, Advocate = Counselor).

It was because God came to Jesus and became one with him that Jesus was the Counselor and the Advocate (Jn 1:32, Jn 10:30-39). This is why Jesus said, “I have come into the world as a light, and I have come in my Father’s name” (Jn 12:46, Jn 5:43).

Just as God spoke through Moses and not directly to the Israelites (Ex 20:18-21), so too did He come and speak through Jesus (Jn 14:24) who came according to the Old Testament (Isa 19:1). On this account, Jesus was the Counselor and Advocate who spoke on behalf of God.

Jesus asked God for another Counselor (Jn 14:16-17), so God sent the Spirit of truth. Because the Spirit of truth dwells in a person (Jn 14:17) and speaks through that person (promised pastor), the promised pastor becomes the Counselor and the Advocate.

This is how God also dwelled within Jesus at the First Coming; Jesus spoke God’s Word on His behalf as the Counselor sent by God. Likewise, the promised pastor became the Counselor, the another Counselor sent by Jesus (Jn 14:16).

Shincheonji Teaching: Truth, Holy Spirit...

Today's Shincheonji Teaching:
The Spirit of Truth, the Counselor
and the Promised Pastor

Main reference: Jn 16:8-15, Jn 14:26

What is the relationship between the Spirit of truth, the Counselor and the promised pastor?

“Truth” is the word of God (Jn 17:17), the “holy spirit” refers to a spirit that is holy, “the Counselor” means a teacher who protects with grace, and “the promised pastor” is the pastor who is promised (prophesied) in advance before God’s promise is fulfilled.

As it is recorded, both the Spirit of truth and the promised pastor are entities that will appear in the future as Jesus prophesied. The promised pastor who speaks on behalf of Jesus is the one all the saints must meet at the appointed time.
