Recently during the Coronavirus pandemic, a super-spreader event in February at Shincheonji Church's Daegu branch resulted in the infection of over 4,000 members as well as several deaths. 4,000 members of Shincheonji Church of Jesus who have completely recovered from COVID-19 will carry out their 3rd group blood plasma donation.

This 3rd group blood plasma donation will be conducted at the request of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency for the rapid development of blood plasma treatment, and it will be held at the Daegu Athletics Promotion Center for 3 weeks from November 16th to December 11th.

About 1,700 members of Shincheonji Church of Jesus who have completely recovered from COVID-19 have participated in plasma donations so far, and they will now participate once more.

Given the long time frame of three weeks, we will follow strict quarantine regulations and volunteers will work alongside us to ensure minimal disruption in operation. Moreover, as with the first and second donations, blood plasma donors have decided not to receive the transportation fee allowance of 200,000 to 300,000 Korean Won ($200~$300) in order to ease taxpayer burden and the government budget.

We are truly thankful to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, Daegu Metropolitan City, and the Republic of Korea National Red Cross for their cooperation with this 3rd group blood plasma donation, and to all citizens in Korea for their encouragement.

As blood plasma treatment has become a crucial point of care in recent times, the Shincheonji Church of Jesus sincerely prays for good results and will lead the effort in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic.

For two days beginning on April 21st Cheong Ju Shincheonji Volunteer Group painted a som-long peace Mural in front of the GS Samseon LPG charging station in Sachang-dong, Cheong Ju. This is a place where many businesses taxis go to and from the city to refuel and there is constant traffic.

About so volunteers cleaned the wall on the 21st, painted a white base, drew the sketch, and finished painting the next day, peace calligraphy in the volunteer's language, and the national flag of 50 foreigners was also included in the murals.

On this day, about hundred people, including a new volunteer group and writers, artists, art majors, citizens, foreigners and social figures worked together to draw wall paintings with the theme of peace and harmonized well.

Especially noteworthy, more than 10 foreigners participated in the event after the morning ceremony to raise awareness of the significance of the March 1st Independence Movement and the importance of peace and peace movements in Samil park.

What is more meaningful is that the murals with the theme of "World Peace" transcending language, nationality and race have created an opportunity for 50 foreigners, Shincheonji volunteers, and local residents to become one.

This festival is about more than a mural breaking the barriers of language country, and race but about world peace together with foreigners and Shincheonji Volunteers has successfully made people in the region to becoming.

Naran (39, Nepal), who participated by contributing his talent drawing murals said,  "I have participated in a lot of service projects with other foreign friends in Korea. I am thankful that I can spread love to many people through small service, and I will participate again next time."

Han Tae-hee, representative of Cheong Ju Shincheonji Volunteer Group, said, "We are glad to have a beautiful load in our area through talent contribution activities. We will continue to do various volunteer activities to help our region."

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent one and only Son into the world that we might love through Him(1 John 4:9 in the text).

At the time of the Second coming when Revelation is fulfilled, all of the New Testament prophecies have been fulfilled in Shincheonji.
    

So, let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge Him(Hosea 6:3).

In the year of Shincheonji 35, April 7th was "All Believers' Volunteer Day" of Shincheonji Church of Jesus. It is appointed to give meaning of everyone of the church volunteers for local society and implement sharing for neighbors on the same day and time. That day about 100,000 people simultaneously volunteered in 40 cities across the country.

 

Shincheonji carried out cleaning environment campaign for Hongik University street and Itaewon where were usually filled with trashes after weekend's evening, Joongrangcheon of Seoul and the Seoul Grand Park of Gwanchoen city which were crowded with sightseers of apring flower festival in Seoul and Gyeonggi area.

 

Believers cleaned up riverside road of Hadan, Saha-gu and Millak Waterfront Park in Busan.

"The air is refreshing after volunteers' clean up, it is so clean, good riddance to cigarette butts". Millak-dong's vendor, Ms. Gahng (65 years, female) who watched volunteers' activity commented.

Shincheonji volunteers of Seoul hosted a ‘Rice cake of love’ event on the 23rd of Jan. 2017. The volunteers visited Korean War veterans Eastern Seoul branch, a Badminton stadium located at Chudong Singok-dong Uijeongbu-si and an older citizen center at Dapsimni Cheongsoluseong apartment to celebrate the event.

The volunteers gave their blessings and wished for the happiness of the older citizens by sharing the rice cakes they had prepared for the event at the older citizens center.

They also showed gratitude and condolences to the Korean War veterans' spirit of sacrifice and handed out the cakes at the Eastern Seoul branch of the Korean War veterans.

With this, they also gave the cakes to the handicapped citizens exercising at the badminton stadium, whom the Shincheonji volunteers had been consistently giving a hand to.

Su-ik Kim, principal of the Handicapped citizens Association showed his gratitude by saying “I am grateful to the Shincheonji volunteers for visiting us on a regular basis.

As the saying goes ‘many drops make a shower’, I believe the volunteers’ truthful service will melt away the ice we have in this society”.

On last 14th, Shincheonji volunteer group from Daegu Nam-gu has come to a onion farm in Gimcheon city to help the farmers to harvest.

After receiving the request from Nam-gu Volunteer Work Center, about 70 people have participated from outstanding volunteer groups in Nam-gu, such as Daegu Shincheonji Volunteer Group, Cheonja Volunteer group, Hosunee Volunteer group, Handasongmoggoji Volunteer group and Saemaeul women group.

Despite of the strong heat of summer, 20 people from Daegu Shincheonji Volunteer Group actively participated in the harvest of onion to help the farmers who were lack of help.

A staff from Nam-gu Volunteer Work Center expressed his gratitude and said, “This volunteer work was designed to help out the farmers who were in difficult situation. And because of Daegu Shincheonji Volunteer Group and other excellent volunteer institutions, we were able to finish the onion harvest.”

Deagu Shincheonji Volunteer Group also does various outreach activities such as, repairing houses and renewing wallpapers for the senior citizens who live alone or who are in financial difficulty, cleaning the Shincheondunchi  and street-gardening for the regional development.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus started

“Love Nation, Share Peace” movement

in a national level from June to July.

Commemoration of divided history of Korea and culture-sharing between veterans and displaced Koreans among the world and foreigners in Korea.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus the Tabernacle of Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus) claimed to hold “Love Nation, Share Peace” events in diverse part of the Korea.

“Love Nation, Share Peace” event was designed to commemorate the sacrifice and contribution of men of national merit and to remember the painful history of divided Korea. This event is being held in every year of June to  encourage Korean citizens to recognize the importance of peaceful unification of the North and the South.

In this event, there will be booths for commemorating the figures of peace, “One Mind” experience booths, “Mugunghwa” PR booths, and peace pinwheel booths to introduce figures who have fought for the peace of Korea and to provide a place where veterans, displaced Koreans, foreigners and diverse religious people can share their cultures.

The staff of societal contribution department in Shincheonji Church of Jesus told us, “Because there was sacrifice and dedication of the soldiers who fought in Korean War and people who have worked for peace of this country, we have the Korea like today. Therefore, the younger generation should not forget the painful history of divided Korea and should obtain a culture of respecting the men of merits. And for this, Shinchoenji Church of Jesus will lead this cultural movement.”

On the other hand, Shincheonji Church of Jesus also proceeds various volunteer activities, such as taking family photos for the displaced Koreans from the Korean War, giving performances for veterans and “comfort women”, making a hand-marked Taegeukgi, and promoting Korean national flower, Mugunghwa.

<The purpose of the Bible>

After the disobedience and sin of Adam, God, the creator of heaven and earth, gave His word, the Bible to the people so they could come out of the world of wickedness and be restored to their originally created state.

The Bible contains God’s will.
World peace and the restoration of light will come
if the work is done in accordance to the Bible.

This is the promised restoration that is recorded in the Bible, and thus religious unification and world peace will be achieved.
