Violence Prevalent in Korean Society

A procession of national disgrace

Human rights blind spots that condone violence.

Dark Shadows on Human Rights in Korea~
Shall we show them?

Forced conversion has become a social issue,
but is dismissed as a religious' or 'family issue' in S. Korea

When will the culture of tolerating violence in Korea stop?

Twin volleyball stars' bullying scandal reveals dark side of elite sports in South Korea

South Korea's elite sports culture has come under the international spotlight for all the wrong reasons after two women's pro volleyball players, twin sisters, were revealed to have severely bullied their teammates back in middle school.

It's not just the twins though.

Violence in elite sports at school has always existed in the country, and insiders say now is the time for change.

Our Han Seong-woo has more.

They've plummeted from the top of South Korean women's pro volleyball to the potential end of their careers.

Lee Jae-young and Lee Da-young have been suspended indefinitely without pay from their club... and kicked off the national team after admitting to having physically and emotionally abused their middle school teammates.

The violence isn't limited to just volleyball though.

It's present and deeply rooted in most team sports in the country.

"Back when I played, some of my older teammates threw completely frozen water bottles at me and even hit me with a piece of wood. I'd end up with bad bruises on my butt and thighs."

Once a victim himself, the former athlete laments that the physical and verbal abuse going on in schools is ignored by some coaches on purpose.

"Of course coaches turned a blind eye. It's because athletic performance is valued above everything else... And because they themselves were abused by their own seniors growing up, coaches think its okay for students to abuse their juniors."

But why does such a toxic culture exist?

Experts say it's a structural issue that the system in which elite sports operate is flawed.

"Many elite athletes in Korea live together in dorms, and they don't get to interact much with other students. This culture creates a blind spot in terms of human rights. All the irrational, inhumane acts happening in this bubble don't come to the surface and it leads to a sort of tacit acceptance."

Professor Chung says that what's needed to end the violence is an institutional approach.

One way to start, he says, could be to strengthen the role of the recently launched Korea Sports Ethics Center as a safe haven where victims can share their struggles and get professional help.

In our country, even though violence guarantees religious freedom not only in the sports world but also in the constitution, forced conversion is not disappearing, and it is a national disgrace and polluting the religious community in a dirty way.

✋ I agree that what is needed to end the violence mentioned by the professor above is an institutional approach. ✋

Do you have any better ideas?

Religious leaders from all over the world added their aspirations for the end of COVID-19 in the online prayer meeting. Their words carried the weight and sincerity as they have continued to work with Chairman Man Hee Lee, a representative of an international peace NGO called HWPL

Chairman Man Hee Lee, as a war veteran, has practiced peace activities based on the love for humanity toward many victims of war and the words of Jesus, “glory in heaven and peace on earth,” as a believer. He suggested an online prayer meeting because “as the world is suffering from COVID-19, religious people around the world need to pray together to end this disaster.”

The prayers of many people around the world were brought together into one and delivered to heaven.
I pray with the same heart that a vaccine will be developed from Corona(COVID-19) as soon as possible.

“Too many people are suffering from COVID-19. In particular, many were infected within our church last February. Both the church members and citizens suffered a lot. We must actively step forward and pray to God for the extinction of COVID-19 in the globe and for the nation and the people,” he said.

352 religious leaders from Buddhism, Sikhism, Islam, and Hinduism, representing 73 countries participated in the prayer meeting with one heart transcending religions and denominations. They shared the need of overcoming the crisis by taking the lead in resolving a disaster as religious leaders.

Dr. Anak Agung Diatmika, Secretary for International Relationship of PHDI Jakarta, said, “Genuinely from the inner of our heart consider as WE ARE ONE. We should continue our prayer till the end of the COVID-19 pandemic from the earth and continue our synergy among world religious leaders to keep the world peace, harmony, justice, and prosperity. I am so happy I can join this that truly brings world peace and harmony.”

Following this prayer meeting, about 4,000 recovered patients from COVID-19 who are also Shincheonji Church members will donate blood plasma to develop convalescent plasma treatments.

Shincheonji Church has already conducted two large-scale plasma donation of 1,700 church members last July and September, and among them, 312 recovered patients donated twice.

Regarding the large-scale blood plasma donation, Rt. Hon. Hrant Bagratyan, Former Prime Minister of Armenia, sent his congratulatory message, “the action of those who decided to donate plasma at the request of the government of Korea deserves praise. If a vaccine is developed through plasma donation, it would be helpful worldwide.”

A Shincheonji Church official said, “We have been conducting online service since February 18th, and praying at each worship service for the end of COVID-19, the safety of the quarantine authorities and medical staff, and the recovery of the patients. We will do everything we can with a responsible attitude until the end of the COVID-19 crisis.”

20th Shincheonji Answer: Churches & Crimes

20th Shincheonji Man Hee Lee Chairman's Answer
Why Many Churches and Many Crimes ... in Korea?

24 wise questions posed by Chairman Byung Churl Lee, founder of Samsung,
Answered with 24 pearls of wisdom by Chairman Man Hee Lee of Shincheonji

Why are there so many crimes and people suffering even though
there are many churches and Christians in Korea?
Why?

20th Question about Religion by Chairman Byoung Chul Lee

Why are there so many crimes and people suffering even though there are many churches and Christians in our country(Korea)?

20th Answer about Religion by Chairman Man Hee Lee

This is similar to the answer to number 17. The Bible says Christians become eviler when they do not follow the principles of religion. It also says, when a person. Betrays, more evil spirits enter into that person (Mt 12:43-45).

Only one-third of the Korean population are Christians; more than two-thirds are non-believers. It is not just Christians who are at fault. If the society of unbelievers and the Christian world become corrupt resulting in the world being filled with unbelief and crime, the Creator would destroy that world. At this time today, the new heaven and new earth will be created and a true culture of heaven will renew this world.

Mr. Lee(Byoung Chul), have you ever thought about what would happen to your body and soul after death? Because you did not know, you probably did not think about such things. I pray you to meet Jesus in Hades and learn about heaven, hell, corruption of the world, and about what you need to receive salvation. (Please refer to the Bible verse belowπŸ‘‡)

  • 1 Peter 3:18-19

For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

in which also He went and made proclamation to the spirits now in prison

Personal Information Leakage
Damage Report

http://en.shincheonji.kr/

In regards to COVID-19, the Leakage of Shincheonji Church of Jesus congregants' personal information have led to human rights infringement cases such as forced resignation, discrimination, insultment, and abhorrence.
The congregants who are affected by personal information leak should file a complaint to their respective local governments and Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and report to the police and National Human Rights Commission of Korea if there is any evidence available.
※ All cases of damage will be collected and dealt with strict legal action.

 The appearance of Shincheonji people
in Korean Society

The government and the media should keep in mind the fact that the decision of the Sincheonji Daegu church members, who have decided to donate blood despite social prejudice, will miss the opportunity to save tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of people's lives if they continue to make unilateral criticism.

What is remarkable is that the Sincheonji saints did not wlose their religious attitude despite misunderstanding, persecution and sorrow in Korea, but rather took the lead in protecting the lives of many people through plasma donation. Remove the Veil about Inhumane Coercive Conversion Program of CCK, in Korea

Human rights on the blind spot of law, cry out for religious freedom and peace.
What has happened to this family?

Illegal coercive conversion

Have you heard of the term coercive conversion program?

It means to someone to change their original religion to another.

The reason why coercive conversion is a problem is because

It involves criminal acts such as Kidnapping, captivity and assault towards those who refuse to be converted against their will.

Coercive conversion destroys one's life and family.
And it is becoming a social issue in many countries Currently, coercive conversion in the Republic of Korea is controlled by Christian pastors.
Damaged Cases from Coercive Conversion
Kidnap and assault in the middle of the day.
The 'Jeonnam Kidnapping Inchident', of 2012, was a case which took place due to a coercive conversion
A humiliating life in captivity
"I lived my daily life bound with handcuffs on I even needed to urinate and defecate in front of my father watching me.
It was very humiliating..."
This is the story of Lee Gayeon who was forced into the coercive conversion
Murders ex-wife who refused to partake in the coercive conversion

On October 7, 2007, around 3am, the ex-husband of the victim, due to the coercive conversion and assault, sneaks into the house of his ex-wife and strikes her head several times with a hammer....
This resulted in her death.

Revive Ji-In!

In 2016, 44days of captivity

Again in 2017 of December, another forced conversion starts and Ji-in returns to us as a cold dead body.

Victims of the coercive conversion total 1,287 people

Victims of the coercive conversion are increasing yearly under the shadows of the constitution Truth of Instigation

Who makes profit out of coercive conversion?
Closing churches due to a decrease in their member
Ten million won($10,000) as thankful offering, expense of the conversion
Coercive conversion is being operated by irrational pastors, whose academic degrees and original denomination are not clearly defined.
Using media to create positive public opinions for coercive conversion.
Eventually, the parents and the children are both victims of the coercive conversion
Human Rights Association for Victims of Coercive Conversion Programs.
The Alliance of Victims of the coercive conversion has tried to notify the citizens to make known of the unjustly victimized realities.
Protest Rally

Give strength to the victims of coercive conversion program.

A woman is kidnapped by her own relatives.

Against her will, she's forced to attend a program designed by pastors of the CCK trained to change her religious views.

The first time, she escapes and springs into action, rallying against coercive conversion program.
The second time, she suffocates to death.
Her name is ji-in Gu. She's not the only victim.

In recent days there has been much attention given to the abuses of religious freedom around the world. The United States is increasing efforts to aid people in desperate need o protection form religious persecution. In war-torn nations or emerging and newly formed democracies struggle for stability and religious subjugation exists.
Few would think Ji-in Gu's tragedy occurred in the home of K-pop, South Korea.

Join the protest against the Christian Council of Korea and Coercive Conversion Program.

This is New York Times message titled "Ban Coercive Conversion" was released in commemoration of the one-year anniversary o the death of Ji-in Gu of Hwasun, Jeonnam in South Korea.
She was kidnapped and forced to give up her vested rights due to the demands of a church determined to change her religion.
The message brings this serious issue bock into focus.

In Korea,

http://endcoerciveconversion.org/

K-POP is becoming more and more popular around the world.
In this way, I am very proud of my country, Korea.

On the other hand,

Inhumane Coercive Conversion Program of CCK in Korea, is a disgrace to our country, South Korea.
Few would think Ji-in Gu's tragedy occurred in the home of K-POP, South Korea.
So, I feel very ashamed  this Coercive Conversion Program of CCK in Korea.
Above all, what I don't understand, the Korean government remains silent.....

http://en.shincheonji.kr/bv_shincheonjiIssue_5209?page=3

Coercive conversion programs are literally programs through which people are forced to  convert their religion.

There are no coercive conversion programs in Christianity, which hold to God's teachings. "Coercive" means to force someone to do something against their will under pressure, religious conversion means to change one's religion from one to another, such as from Buddhism to Christianity and "coercive programs" here refers to programs that are forced upon people.

Such coercive conversion program in Korea!!!
Why is the Korean government letting this happen?
Why???

Report on CCK

Evaluation of CCK (Christian Council of Korea)

Let us evaluate the walk in faith of that in the Christian Council of Korea (CCK).
The Korea Christian Media Associateion Forum (Ep. 7 of christian Media Forum, April 24th, 2008) revealed that CCK's root is the Chruch of Calvin who murdered many people.
We cannot equate the Church of Calvin with the Church of Jesus.

Like King Solomon(1Kgs 11) and the event of Revelation 13, the CCK of the Presbyterian Church bowed and worshiped the Japanese emperor during the Japanese colonization.
This is a testimony form the  Koshin Church (the Koshin Church is a denomination that split from the mainline Presbyterian denomination in Korea as they resisted the shrine worship during the Japanese colonization.)

CCK has not acted in love, forgiveness, and blessings according to God's command, but has cursed, slandered, persecuted, and declared war against others. ......

Report on the CCK

During the period of Japanese colonial rule,
the CCK worshiped Japanese gods, which is against the Bible.
This is a testimony form the Koshin Church (the Koshin Church is

a denomination that split from the mainline Presbyterian denomination
in Korea as they resisted the shrine worship during the Japanese colonization)

We accuse the Christian Council of Korea (CCK)

We accuse the falsehood and corruption of the corrupted and obsolete traditional denomination of the Christian Council of Korea(CCK) to the people of our nation.

Christian Council of Korea is not religious organization.

In the articles of association, which prescribes the purpose of the establishment of CCK and its characteristics, it states "Let's unite Christianity in Korea as one and shout one voice to the Government and Society". By looking at this, it is clear that they are an organization formed for political reasons and own benefits, and not a religious organization.

The Presbyterian denomination, which is the majority of CCK, instigated a joint movement with other denominations supporting the Constitutional Amendment for the Third Term during the period when the government took control through a coup d’Γ©tat.
This CCK is now being involved in politics, ruling over the heads of politicians, taking control over the administration of Korea. They have put pressure on government offices and called on their congregation to file a malicious complaint, thus disrupting the construction of new temples of Shincheonji, Church of Jesus(Shincheonji church).
To spread bad perception of Shincheonji church to the ordinary people, they have encouraged their congregation to make all kinds of abuse and slander.

They also had a plutocracy to sell and buy the position of the Chairman of CCK and even committed an act of brutality by anointing hands and appointing pastors for those who had never even been to a seminary, if they have paid money. This political and administrative involvement by CCK is a crime that violates the content of Article 20. Clause 2 of the Constitution, what states that "Religion and politics must be separate:, and thereby violates the order of the Republic of Korea.

CCk had served other gods than God

During the period when Korea was under the Japanese colonial rule, the Presbyterian church of Calvinism worked as the informants of Japan who trampled and destroyed our country and people, and incited pastors from each denomination to worship and praise the Japanese god. This was a violation of the very first commandment from the Law of God. The evidence of this is the Goshin group that refused to worship the Japanese shrine at that time and came out from Presbyterianism. These are anti-religious acts that deny God and are crimes against the law of heaven.
CCK is an organization that aggravates coercive conversion programs that violates human rights such as murder, violence, kidnapping and confinement.

Feeling threatened from the rapid growth of shincheonji, Church of Jesus, CCK fabricated and spread lies to the people.
Conversion pastors affiliated with the CCK have undertaken coercive conversion programs that violate human rights through violence, confinement and kidnapping.

Conversion pastors deceive and instigate the parents of youth by making them put plaster on the mouth of their children, put handcuffs on their hands and legs, lock them up in a room and forcefully ask their children to change their religion with lies full of personal insults.
Also, the pastors use the parents to make their children forcefully defer their studies or work and put the blame on Shincheonji Church with lies that Shincheonji church is instigating these actions.

From this coercive conversion process, there have already been two cases of murders of a woman and young adult congregation member of shincheonji church.
However, CCk has not taken any responsibility in regards to these murders.

Religious organizations and politicians form different parts the world are hosting rallies against the coercive conversion programs of CCK, and the United Nations headquarter and Washington D.C. have denunciated it as a disgraceful action towards the name of religion, Coercive conversion program of CCK is a criminal act that is against religion, a crime that violates Article 20, Clause 1 of the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, and therefore denies the Republic of Korea.

CCK is an organisation that makes lies about the word of Bible.

CCK does not have the word of God, but rather full of teachings of worldly matters and lies.
The pastors from the CCK have distorted the New Covenant, which is the words of prophecy that will be fulfilled, promised by the blood of Jesus (Luke 22:14-20).
They have changed the meaning of the New Covenant and preached lies to the people.
Pastors affiliated to CCK insisted that people and buildings will be raptured into the sky as this is the time of end of ages, and gave false teachings that the 'Four Living Creatures(Rev 4 and 6)' in the Book of Revelation means 'Four Gospels', the 'Two Witnesses (Rev 11)' who stand before the Lord means 'New Testament and Old Testament', the '666(Rev 13)' means 'Barcode', and the earth will be ended before we meet the 212st century.

Jesus said in Matthew 13 that two types of seeds were sown in the churches of Jesus, and he said that the seed is the word of God(Luke 8:11). Jesus said the seed of the word of truth from God becomes the sons of God, and the seed of the lies (weed) are the words of the devil and they become the sons of the devil (Matthew 13:38-39).
Shincheonji church is correction the wrong teachings of lies with the word of truth.

Being born of the seed of truth and becoming  God's children and entering the Kingdom of Heaven
is better than being born of the seed of lies and becoming the children of the devil and go to hell.
CCK is sowing the seed of the devil, lies and making their congregation members become the sons of the devil and sending them all to hell.
This is the heaviest of all sins and an act that is against religion.

CCK, which is a tradition, has become obsolete, corrupted and committed all kinds of sins. They distorted and made 200 lies about the word of prophecy (New Testament, Revelation) that God promised and fed these lies to their own congregation members.
They stipulated the orthodox revealed word that Shincheonji church teaches as a false religious cult.

With this, Shincheonji church sent numerous letters to CCK to suggest taking a test of 100 questions from the book of prophecy in New Testament in order to distinguish who is truly the orthodox and who is truly the cult.
We asked them to not cause any more confusion to our society and politics through the result of this test, however there has not been any pastor or theological professor from CCK who responded to our request.
This is the evidence that there is no word of God in CCK, and ultimately they have been defeated by Shincheonji church.

CCK is an organization that divides the people of our nation into two and is an anti-nation, anti-society organization that is against peace and unification and should cease to exist.

God promised peace in the Bible(Isaiah 52:7), the angel spoke of peace(Luke 2:14), and even Jesus proclaimed peace(Luke 19:38-42). Upholding this will, Shinchoenji church is also doing the work of peace.

40 years of religious dispute in Mindanao Philippines, was ended through the peace work of Shincheonji church and Mindanao is changing into the nation of  peace. Soldiers voluntarily fuse the weapons into tools for daily living (sickle). Airport police started a campaign returning guns. Religious disputes among the world is being resolved and the religion is becoming one.
Schools.

Current Presidents and Chief  Justices of the Supreme Court of Albania, Kosovo and Palestine and United Nations ambassadors met the delegation of peace messengers.
They are actively supporting and participation in our peace activities for world peace and cessation of wars.
Many nations around the world saw the peace movement of Shincheonji church and have proclaimed that the Republic of Korea is the greatest nation, however, CCK is actively disrupting this peace movement.

Shincheonji church did volunteering activities, made the biggest hand print Korean national flag, proclaimed the Declaration of Unification of Korea and the Declaration of World Peace, held events for Memorial Day tributes for the spirit of the patriots and the souls of all the fallen heroes.
However, CCK became one with Christian Broadcasting System (CBS) and disrupted the volunteering activities, protested for banning to keep the biggest hand print Korean national flag in Seoul National Cemetery, took out the memorial stone for Declaration of Unification of Korea, and disrupted the rent venues for the peace activities. Even though these actions of CCK are anti-nation and anti-society, they rather insult Shincheonji church as anti-nation, anti-society and hold a campaign called 'Shincheonji Out'

To all the people of our nation!
Please do not be deceived by the lies of CCK and religious broadcasting station CBS!

As the word of the Bible(Hebrew 8) says, CCK is obsolete, corrupted and aging to soon disappear.

CCK should not commit any more sins to the believers, and repent their actions of anti-nation, anti-society, anti-religion, they should disband voluntarily and come forward to the word of the Bible.
That is the only way for them to live.

To all the people of  our nation! We must all come to Shincheonji Church of Jesus which is the New Heaven and New Earth, the New Nation and New People that God promised and created and put in our efforts to be born again of the seed of God, be harvested be sealed and belong to 12 tribes of God's Kingdom.
We must know that blocking the way to come to Shincheonji church is an act of crime.

Let us believe in the word "Repent! The Kingdom of Heaven is near."

Now, Two Faced Conversion Pastors, in Korea

😢 Religious Reality, in Korea!!! 😢
'Two Faced Conversion Pastors'

" In a Society of Korea without laws dealing
with coercive religious conversion program
has become a breeding ground
for violent crime, corruption and lawlessness
by forced conversion pastors! "

On 29 December 2017 a woman in her twenties, who had been lobbying for the eradication of coercive conversion and the punishment of the conversion pastors who incite it, was killed while she was being held captive at a secluded recreational lodge in Hwasun, Jeonnam, South Korea. Her parents are believed to be responsible.

The deceased had experienced coercive conversion once before at the hands of a conversion pastor in 2016. She had been abducted, held captive, and made subject to a coercive conversion program for 44 days. After her escape, she began to lobby for the enforcement of "freedom of religion" mandated by the South Korean Constitution. She persisted with this cause up to the moment of her death.

The woman wrote to the Korean President in June last year, asking for the "closure of the Korean Cult Counseling Center, enforcing legal punishment of conversion pastors, and lobbying for the enactment of a law to ban religious discrimi- nation." If this letter had been considered seriously by the President and the judicial authorities, such particular incident in question would never have reoccurred.

The death of the deceased was a result of the typical coercive conversion process: a) the coercive conversion pastor receiving a fee by first inducing fear in the family through allegations such as "your child has fallen into a cult" b) instructing the family to abduct, confine, and restrain the victim; c) proceeding with long-term education by means of slander to alter the victims religious preference.

This is the second "religious murder" after the first incident back in 2007, when a woman in her forties was beaten to death by her ex-husband with a hammer because she refused to participate willingly in a conversion program. This first case, which occurred in Ulsan, South Korea, was also part of the moneymaking schemes of conversion pastors. As a result of the woman's religious preference, fear and anger was planted in the hearts of the family causing them to resort to abduction, confinement, and violence.

Regarding this case, in 2015 a pastor of an established Christian church in South Korea claimed in a certain newspaper that "he could empathize with the position  of the ex-husband who murdered his wife," revealing the inexcusable view that pastors take with regards to the conversion business.

Coercive conversion programmers are designed to make the family of the victim responsible for all illegal actions so that the conversion pastors themselves incur no liability. Families are torn apart and destroyed, while pastors, the initiators of the process, get off scot free.(The conversion pastors cleverly managed to evade the law)

Coercive conversion education is thriving despite Korean citizens being kidnapped, confined, restrained, assaulted, and even killed in flagrant disregard of the law. Things have reached such a head that prominent pastor in the conversion business, Jin, recommended the practice to other pastors because it is "profitable."

What is more regrettable is the fact that the police disregarded the missing persons' report that was filed immediately after the victim was abducted, on the grounds that it was a "religious issue" and a "family issue." In the meantime, she was killed and the police were unaware of her death.

We hereby appeal to the President and the judicial authorities. The citizens of Korea are being exploited for money and killed by the conversion business. Tens of thousands of people live in fear for their lives because of one reason: their faith. Who gave these pastors the authority to confine, shackle, beat, and murder people for their faith? Their disguise is holy and pious but their actions show that they are willing to commit murder to arbitrarily convert people's beliefs. The authorities must face reality and take appropriate action against this practice.

We should thoroughly investigate the recent death and reveal the true facts(the forced conversion pastors who have clevely evaded the law). We should root out the real culprit and cause for destruction of this family. Justice should be served and conversion pastors must be held accountable for their actions. The constant violation of people's universal human right to freedom of religion through abduction, confinement, suffocation and many other forms of physical abuse and violence must come to an end.
