To Be Naked In the Bible [Shincheonji Bible Study]

To Be Naked In the Bible
[Shincheonji Bible Study]

Now, let's understand what it means to be naked.
We should look to the Bible as we consider expressions like “hidden things of old” (Ps 78:2), “parables” (Mt 13:34-35), and “the account of creation” (Gn 2:4).

    * The sons of God are different from mere men (Ps 82:6-7).
    * “For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves
       with Christ.” (Gal 3:27)
    * Only people wearing white clothes are worthy (Rv 3:4), so we must buy
       and wear white clothes
   * “The one born by natural descent persecuted the one born according
to the spirit.” (Gal 4:29) to avoid being shamefully exposed (Rv 3:18; Rv 16:15).
    * “For we know that if our earthly house, the tent we live in, is dismantled,
we have a building from God, a house not built by human hands,
that is eternal in the heavens.
For in this earthly house we groan, because we desire to put on our
heavenly dwelling, if indeed, after we have put on our heavenly house,
we will not be found naked.
For we groan while we are in this tent, since we are weighed down,
because we do not want to be unclothed, but clothed,
so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
Now the one who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave us the spirit
       as a down payment.” (2 Cor 5:1-5)
    * “We must lay aside the works of darkness, and put on the weapons of light.”
        (Rom 13:12)
    * “In him you also were circumcised?not, however, with a circumcision performed
by human hands, but by the removal of the fleshly body, that is,
through the circumcision done by Christ.” (Col 2:11)
    * “Since you have put off the old man with its practices and have been clothed
with the new man …” (Col 3:9-10)
    * “So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed
away? look, what is new has come!” (2 Cor 5:17)

Thus, when Adam and Eve took off what was of the flesh and became living spirits, they were new creations. They rid themselves of all that was shameful (Gn 2:25).

Nakedness and Clothing [Shincheonji Bible Study]

Shincheonji Bible Study
'Nakedness and Clothing'

  • Main reference: Gn 2:25,  3:6-7

Waht's the nakedness?

The word nakedness implies that a person was at one point dressed. The plants and animals God created do not wear clothes, but we do not say they are naked.

People, on the other hand, wear clothes. The Bible even talks about how God, the angels, and the spiritual body of Jesus are dressed (Mt 17:2; Rv 1:13; Rv 4:4; Rv 15:6).

Adam and Eve were not ashamed of their nakedness until they ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gn 2:25; Gn 3:6-7).

As we discussed above, eating the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil is the same as hearing and accepting the words of the devil.

Adam and Eve realized they were naked and felt shame only after they heard and accepted the words of the serpent (Gn 3:1-13).

Let us first understand what it means to be naked. We should look to the Bible tomorrow as we consider expressions like “hidden things of old” (Ps 78:2), “parables” (Mt 13:34-35), and “the account of creation” (Gn 2:4).

Let's look to the Bible tomorrow.
See you tomorrow~♥

Bible and Shincheonji

Bible
and
Shincheonji

“Shincheonji” (New Heaven and New Earth) was named after the promise in the Bible.
It was created with faith in this promise.

The lies made up by those who are not named after the promise in the Bible cannot be the truth, because they do not believe in the promise and they are not created accordingly.

Like the time of Jesus’ first coming, people who are not created or born again according to the Bible will accuse others as cults; they will accuse those who have been created and born again. However, that does not make the accused a true cult.  A life of faith that is not reborn but follows the ways of the traditional church will come to an end as written in Revelation 21.

As it is recorded, the obsolete and corrupt tradition ends (Heb 8:13) but new era of the new heaven and new earth (Shincheonji) has come. The new heaven and new earth, Shincheonji is the new creation that is made according to the promise of the new covenant.

A True Believer? By Truth of Bible~!!

A True Believer is?
By Truth of Bible~!!

The fact that not a single Protestant pastor has responded to Shincheonji’s proposal
for a public debate of the Bible is evidence that Shincheonji has overcome with the truth!!

A true believer should speak the truth of the Bible.
The repression of the truth by men’s authority and the use of money to avoid problems are certainly not the work of God’s holy spirit.

Shincheonji has overcome with the truth.

There is no truth in the churches today, but only corruption.
The fact that believers are coming to Shincheonji is evidence that Shincheonji has overcome with the truth.

The fact that not a single Protestant pastor has responded to Shincheonji’s proposal for a public debate of the Bible is evidence that Shincheonji has overcome with the truth.

Today, those who are unable to defeat Shincheonji with the word of the Bible and only persecute are no different from the pastors and elders of the First Coming who could not defeat Jesus with the truth and only persecuted him. Shincheonji is the kingdom promised by God.

If one opposes Shincheonji, one cannot enter heaven. Just like how seven evil spirits come and live within a believer who leaves the truth (refer to Mt 12:43-45), isn’t it true that the world of believers is seven times more evil than the world of non-believers?

The world of believers is corrupt and drunk with false words just as it says in Revelation 18; the corrupted world of believers must be reborn with the revealed word of Jesus.

People who want truth, heaven, and eternal life should come to Shincheonji (refer to Rv 17:14, 18:4). I pray that they seek freedom of faith, receive the word of revelation (refer to Mt 11:27; Rv1:1-2, 22:16; Rv 10), and reach their hope.

Shincheonji, Twelve Tribes

Shincheonji Church of Jesus,
Temple of the Tabernacle of
the Testimony, Twelve Tribes

  • Matthew 19:28
Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Is Shincheonji (Shincheonji Church of Jesus), Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, twelve tribes a cult?

If one claims that ‘Shincheonji’ (promised by Jesus: refer to Mt 19:28 and Rv 21) and the “Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony” are a cult, they cannot go to heaven.

All denominations and church names other than Shincheonji, Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony were created arbitrarily, but Shincheonji, Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony is the kingdom and the temple promised by God and Jesus, and it has been created according to that promise.

Therefore, Shincheonji and its twelve tribes are the promised nation and the promised heaven.

Shincheonji, which the Bible Speaks

Shincheonji,
which the Bible speaks

We, in Shincheonji proposed a public debate of the Bible numerous times
in locations all over the country, but to this day not a single person has stepped up to respond.

If one reads ‘commentaries,’ which are arbitrary interpretations of the Bible by men, and calls the Bible heretical, then all bibles on this earth should be burned.

And if the Bible, the Christian doctrine, is heretical according to Calvin’s doctrines, then Christianity and the Bible should be burned and Calvin’s doctrines should be taught in place of the Bible.

If one stands for scripture other than the Bible, then one should testify about that scripture so they can be compared. One may hate a person, but one should not hate the words of the Bible.

If one thinks a Bible commentary is wrong, then one should say it is wrong. In this case, one should have evidence that shows the commentary to be correct or incorrect.

If Shincheonji, which the Bible speaks of, is wrong, then evidence that proves its falsehood should be brought forward and an alternative (a creation) other than Shincheonji should be presented to take its place.

We, in Shincheonji proposed a public debate of the Bible numerous times in locations all over the country, but to this day not a single person has stepped up to respond.

Shincheonji, which the Bible Speaks
We told them numerous times, “If Shincheonji is wrong, then step forward confidently and declare the word ‘Shincheonji’ to be wrong, or if Shincheonji’s explanation of the Bible is wrong, then say it is wrong.” But they only rant like a tavern’s dogs barking at the back, so isn’t fitting to call them 'beasts'? (refer to Ps 30:2-3)

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony

Shincheonji Church of Jesus
Temple of the Tabernacle

of the Testimony

Main reference: Rv 21, 15

Is Shincheonji (Shincheonji Church of Jesus), Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, a cult, heresy or not?

‘Shincheonji’ is an abbreviation of the Chinese characters for ‘new heaven and new earth’ found in Revelation 21. In the Bible, the first heaven and the first earth pass away, and a new heaven and a new earth appear.

God, Jesus, and heaven are promised to come to Shincheonji (refer to Rv 3:12, 21:1-7). The ‘Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony’ is the temple to where all nations will come and worship, according to Revelation 15:4-5.

‘The Tabernacle of the Testimony’ means it is the tabernacle that testifies to what was seen and heard concerning the events of all the chapters of Revelation. ‘Temple’ means that it is a holy house.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus is the twelve tribes of the kingdom of God and his creation promised in the New Testament!

If you call ‘Shincheonji, Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony,’ that was created according to the Bible, a cult, then you are calling Jesus a cult, and the book of ‘Revelation’ found in the Bible becomes a heretical doctrine. If you do not believe in God, the Bible, or Shincheonji, then it is correct to say your beliefs is wrong. Do you?

※ In Korean, New Heaven New Earth is translated as Shincheonji.
Namely, Shincheonji is translated "New Heaven New Earth" in English.

Shincheonji (新天地)

Shincheonji is the short term for
"The New Heaven and New Earth"
  in Chinese

The term Shincheonji means“the new heaven and new earth”.

  • Main references: Rv 21 (Rv 6, Rv 7)
(Rev 21:1)
Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven
and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

What are the new heaven and new earth in the main chapter?
What are the first heaven and first earth that ceased to exist?

The first heaven and earth that passed away was the tabernacle
of the Spiritual Israelites and their congregation members.

The new heaven and new earth is the tabernacle that is re-created and its congregation members.
The tabernacle (the dwelling place of the saints) is referred to as heaven because God’s chosen people are symbolized by the sun, moon, and stars (refer to Gn 37:9-11), and thus, the place (the tabernacle) where the sun, moon, and stars are, becomes heaven.

Moses saw what was in heaven and built the tabernacle on earth accordingly (Ex 25). Therefore, the tabernacle of Moses was heaven on earth.

Jesus proclaimed, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near!” (Mt 4:17). He also said, “Your will be done on earth as it is done in heaven” (Mt 6:10). According to these words, the kingdom of God that Jesus established with his disciples here on earth (refer to Jn 5:19-20) was heaven, that is, the tabernacle, Spiritual Israel.

Since man was formed from dust (Gn 2), dust or earth figuratively refers to flesh. The heaven and earth that passed away was the first heaven that Jesus started, and that has lasted for the past 2,000 years. The new heaven and new earth is the second heaven that is created today at the second coming. The short term for the new heaven and new earth in Chinese is Shincheonji(新天地).

Shincheonji Bible Study: The content of Scripture

<Shincheonji Bible Study>

"The content of Scripture"

The content of Scripture is recorded in four major parts:
  1. History
  2. Moral teaching
  3. Prophecy
  4. Fulfillment
When the prophecies fulfill, three events occur: the events of betrayal, destruction, and salvation
(These are very important event in the bible).

The three entities who fulfill these events (betrayer, destroyer, and savior) appear and do the work which had been recorded with what they would do.

Therefore, the believers are able to recognize each of the entities by seeing the work that they do.

The Pastor of Shincheonji

The Pastor
of Shincheonji

  • Rv 3:12
The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.

A promised pastor had already been determined in the Scripture (the Bible) to appear in the kingdom that is created today, at the end of age.

  • Rev 21:6
He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.

Because this pastor comes according to the promises of the Scripture and fulfills what had been promised, he is the pastor promised by God and is acknowledged as the pastor whom God sent.

  • Rv 22:16
“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches.
I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

Testimony of Religion

The Testimony
of A Religion
<Prophecy and Fulfillment>

The prophecies that have endured from long ago and their fulfillment must continue
on to this day, and there must be evidence of the prophecies’ physical fulfillment.

The testimony of a religion must be based on the Five Whs and One H (who, what, when, where, why, and how), and its genealogy, generations, and flow must make sense.

Also, the prophecies that have endured from long ago and their fulfillment must continue on to this day, and there must be evidence of the prophecies’ physical fulfillment.

God’s promised pastors who appear in each era are the pastors whom God promised beforehand in the previous eras.

Therefore, there must be things promised (prophecies) regarding the promised pastors, and they are those who appear according to the promises and who perform the works that had been promised.

For example, Jesus at the First Coming was born to a virgin and God was with this child (Is 7:14 → Mt 1:18-25). He was born in Bethlehem (Mi 5:2 → Mt 2:1-6), and he also entered Jerusalem riding on a colt and proclaimed peace (Zec 9:9-10 → Lk 19:33-42) according to the promises of the Old Testament. Jesus fulfilled every promise of the Old Testament (Jn 19:30).

This is how one can be acknowledged as the promised pastor!!

Religion Series: Why We Taught Religion

Religion Series,
Why We Taught Religion

True religion is a teaching that comes from the true God of heaven.
Let us examine the meaning of religion (宗敎: highest “jong”, to teach “gyo”) by looking at its root Chinese characters.

* Analyze the Chinese character for religion (宗敎)

  • “宀” (“Bu” meaning what is above the head and “Myeon” meaning House. 宀 symbolizes “heaven”)
  • 示 (“Si” meaning to see)
  • 孝 (“Hyo” meaning filial duty)
  • * 攵 (=攴: “Bok” meaning hitting or whipping → teach by whipping).”

Therefore, in the East, the word “religion” means “the highest teaching”, which is “to teach the will of heaven and filial duty by seeing and hearing the things of heaven”.

In the West, the origin of the word “religion” is the Latin word “religare”. This means to reconnect the broken lifeline.

What we have examined thus far shows why religion is taught.

※   The original letter of “gyo” of “Jong-gyo (religion)” is ‘敎’, and ‘教’ is the popular or simplified form of the Chinese character “gyo”. In the article above, ‘教’ was broken down to analyze the word “religion” by parts.

President of senior citizen rolled up the sleeves with holding the brush and tried to paint murals.

His drawing skill like a famous painter took everyone by surprise.

History of Dugu-dong which president of senior citizen give a talk in person was exciting.

Dugu-dong has been a long history like running water from the foot of a Cheolmasan mountain.

The president has preserved this site as the third generation.

Dugudong is composed of 7 villages and is surrounded with 270-year-old Muku trees, Chinese hackberries and about 300-year-old Zelkova trees.

They are said to be appointed as protected trees and to be under control of the dong headman.

Trees keeping a watch one site for a long time silently have been considered as a guardian god for elders.

There is a temple called 'Heunbubsa' which has the biggest Buddhist statue among our country is behind the center for senior citizens that serves 54 elders.

The 'Jori' center for senior citizens gives alms to the temple and are served by people from the temple.

They have steadily rendered the volunteer medical service of acupuncture.

The elders delivered the message to always thank Shincheonji volunteers and volunteers from Heungbub temple.

Bible Story "Jonah's Anger and God's Compassion"

Bible Story "Jonah's Anger and God's Compassion" continued from "Jonah to Nineveh" <http://nomorenightriver.blogspot.kr/2015/09/bible-story-jonah-to-nineveh.html>

Bible Story
"Jonah's Anger and
God's Compassion"

Main references: Jnh 4

- Jonah's Anger
4 But to Jonah this seemed very wrong, and he became angry.

- Jonah's Prayer
2 He prayed to the Lord , “Isn’t this what I said, Lord , when I was still at home? That is what I tried to forestall by fleeing to Tarshish. I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity.

3 Now, Oh! Lord , take away my life, for it is better for me to die than to live.”

4 But the Lord replied, “Is it right for you to be angry?”

5 Jonah had gone out and sat down at a place east of the city. There he made himself a shelter, sat in its shade and waited to see what would happen to the city.

- Jonah who was greatful for the plant
6 Then the Lord God provided a leafy plant and made it grow up over Jonah to give shade for his head to ease his discomfort, and Jonah was very happy about the plant.

- The plant that withered
7 But at dawn the next day God provided a worm, which chewed the plant so that it withered.

- Jonah's anger
8 When the sun rose, God provided a scorching east wind, and the sun blazed on Jonah’s head so that he grew faint. He wanted to die, and said, “It would be better for me to die than to live.”

9 But God said to Jonah, “Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?” “It is,” he said. “And I’m so angry I wish I were dead.”

- Word of God
10 But the Lord said, “You have been concerned about this plant, though you did not tend it or make it grow. It sprang up overnight and died overnight.

11 And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left—and also many animals?”

※ The name "Jonah" means "dove, pigeon"

  • ☆ Jonah had a complaining heart toward God who allowed grace to Nineveh, a country that opposes Israel. What comes to your mind when you look at Jonah who was happy at the plant, vine that provided shade and then became angry when the vine plant withered, and word of God who speaks in Jonah 4:10-11?

Bible Story, Jonah to Nineveh

Nice to see you again^.^*

Jonah Goes to Nineveh at last.
Bible Story "Jonah to Nineveh" continued from last Bible Story, "Jonah's Prayer" <http://nomorenightriver.blogspot.kr/2015/09/jonah-bible-story-act-3.html>

Bible Story,
Jonah to Nineveh

Main references:Jnh 3

- The Word of the Lord came to Jonah again
3 Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time:

2 “Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you.”

3 Jonah obeyed the word of the Lord and went to Nineveh. Now Nineveh was a very large city; it took three days to go through it.

- Jonah Preaches at Nineveh
4 Jonah began by going a day’s journey into the city, proclaiming, “Forty more days and Nineveh will be overthrown.”

- The People of Nineveh Believe
5 The Ninevites believed God. A fast was proclaimed, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth.

6 When Jonah’s warning reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust.

7 This is the proclamation he issued in Nineveh: “By the decree of the king and his nobles: Do not let people or animals, herds or flocks, taste anything; do not let them eat or drink.

8 But let people and animals be covered with sackcloth. Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence.

- God Relented and Turned from His fierce anger
9 Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish.”

10 When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened.

We are very glad about the people of Nineveh repented and believed God~
You might be of a thinking, However...
What will be the Jonah's thought???

Bible Story, Jonah's Prayer

Bible Story,
"Jonah's Prayer"

Main reference: Jnh 1:17~ 2:1~10

"Jonah Bible Story 3" Continued from last "Jonah Bible Story, Jonah Who Was Thrown into the sea "  <http://nomorenightriver.blogspot.kr/2015/09/jonah-bible-story-act-2.html>

- The Lord Provided a Huge Fish
17 Now the Lord provided a huge fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

- Jonah's Prayer
2 From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the Lord his God.

2 He said: “In my distress I called to the Lord , and he answered me. From deep in the realm of the dead I called for help, and you listened to my cry.

3 You hurled me into the depths, into the very heart of the seas, and the currents swirled about me; all your waves and breakers swept over me.

4 I said, ‘I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.’

5 The engulfing waters threatened me,  the deep surrounded me; seaweed was wrapped around my head.

6 To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever. But you, Lord my God, brought my life up from the pit.

7 “When my life was ebbing away, I remembered you, Lord , and my prayer rose to you, to your holy temple.

8 “Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God’s love for them.

9 But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, Salvation comes from the Lord .’ ”

- Jonah's deliverance
10 And the Lord commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

Phew~ Jonah!
The Lord saved his life from the fish's belly.
And then can you guess what he did?

Umm... what will he going to do?
Coming soon !
Bye~ Bye (^.^)/~

Bible Story, Jonah Who Was Thrown into the sea

Bible Story,
"Jonah who was thrown
into the sea"

Main Reference: Jnh 1:4~16

"Jonah Bible Story 2" continued from last story 'Jonah Flees from the Lord'   <http://nomorenightriver.blogspot.kr/2015/09/jonah-story-from-bible.html>

- The Storm at Sea
4 Then the Lord sent a great wind on the sea, and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up.

- Jonah who was fast asleep
5 All the sailors were afraid and each cried out to his own god. And they threw the cargo into the sea to lighten the ship. But Jonah had gone below deck, where he lay down and fell into a deep sleep.

6 The captain went to him and said, “How can you sleep? Get up and call on your god! Maybe he will take notice of us so that we will not perish.”

- To cast lots, the lot fell on Jonah
7 Then the sailors said to each other, “Come, let us cast lots to find out who is responsible for this calamity.” They cast lots and the lot fell on Jonah.

8 So they asked him, “Tell us, who is responsible for making all this trouble for us? What kind of work do you do? Where do you come from? What is your country? From what people are you?”

- Jonah introduces himself
9 He answered, “I am a Hebrew and I worship the Lord , the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.”

- Finally, Jonah Thrown into the Sea
10 This terrified them and they asked, “What have you done?” (They knew he was running away from the Lord , because he had already told them so.)

11 The sea was getting rougher and rougher. So they asked him, “What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?”

12 “Pick me up and throw me into the sea,” he replied, “and it will become calm. I know that it is my fault that this great storm has come upon you.”

13 Instead, the men did their best to row back to land. But they could not, for the sea grew even wilder than before.

14 Then they cried out to the Lord , “Please, Lord , do not let us die for taking this man’s life. Do not hold us accountable for killing an innocent man, for you, Lord , have done as you pleased.”

- Picked up Jonah and threw him into the sea and??
the sea ceased from its raging
15 Then they took Jonah and threw him overboard, and the raging sea grew calm.

16 At this the men greatly feared the Lord , and they offered a sacrifice to the Lord and made vows to him.

Do you want to know destiny of Jonah?

Then, we'll see you next time ~Bye~
