Shincheonji Teaching: The Lord’s Prayer, Mt 6

Shincheonji Teaching:
The Lord’s Prayer, Mt 6

Main reference: Mt 6

What is the true meaning of the Lord’s prayer, and what are his kingdom and his righteousness referring to?

After the choosing of the disciples, starting in Matthew 5, Jesus gave us commands to keep as believers. One of them is the Lord’s prayer (Mt 6:9~13). He also said to seek first his kingdom and his righteousness (Mt 6:33). These are the two main points of Matthew 6.

After seeing the way in which the hypocrites prayed and gave to the needy, Jesus told his disciples not to do these things to be seen by men as they (hypocrites) do, but to pray to God who is unseen. He then told us what we should pray (Mt 6:1~13).

This prayer is the Lord’s prayer that many believers recite at the end of worship services. They do so with their mouths without knowing its meaning. If one does not follow through with their prayer in action, one is a liar to God. He listens to our prayers only if we act as well.

 1) Mt 6:9  Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name

① In heaven
Where is the ‘heaven’ at which God resides? The place in Revelation 4 where God’s throne is located is the spiritual heaven. God coming to Jesus at the First Coming (Mt 3:16~17; 4:17) was the spiritual heaven coming down to earth.
Also, Rv 13:6, the ‘tabernacle’ on earth on which heaven came down was called ‘heaven’ as well. The reason is that just as the sun, moon, and the stars are in the sky, Israel, who are God’s chosen people, were figuratively referred to as the sun, moon, and the stars, and thus, God’s tabernacle was heaven, the spiritual sky (Gn 37:9~11; Rv 13:6; 12:1; 15:1, 5; Mt 13:24).

② Our Father
In John 8, when the Jews claimed that God was their father, Jesus said to them that their father is not the true God, but the lying devil (Jn 8:41-44). This was because they were born of the seed of the devil (liar).
Only by being born of God’s seed, which is his word (Lk 8:11), can one call God ‘father’. Furthermore, God will only acknowledge those born of his seed as his sons (children). God doesn’t just automatically become the father of someone born of the devil’s seed just because he calls (the true) God his father. Neither can he just automatically become God’s son.

③ Hallowed be your name
God is the creator of the heavens and the earth. He has no sin; he is the light of righteousness and life. He is the Lord who judges between righteousness and wickedness. He is also the owner of all nations and all creation. God is truly a holy and flawless being. It is only logical that his creation reveres and praises God’s holiness as he deserves.

2) Mt 6: 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

① Your kingdom come
This is praying for the spiritual heaven to come down to and unite with the tabernacle of heaven on earth. It is also praying for God, who left the world, to come down to the recreated kingdom (tabernacle) on earth.

② Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Moses (Ex 25) and Jesus (Jn 5) fulfilled on earth just as they saw in heaven. In the same way, at the Second Coming, the one who fights against and overcomes the devil (the promised pastor) sees the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, in Revelation 21 and 4. He then fulfills it (Rv 3:12).

3) Mt 6:11 Give us today our daily bread

In the time of Moses, until they entered into Canaan, produced their own crop, and settled in the land, God gave the people of Israel manna from heaven every morning (Ex 16:14~36). Jesus said, however, that although the forefathers ate the manna that Moses gave, they died; but that he gives the food that does not spoil, that endures to eternal life. He said that this food was the living bread from heaven, his flesh and blood (Jn 6). Jesus himself is also the ‘Word’ as seen in 1 John 1.
The true daily bread that Jesus gives is the revealed word of the New Testament. This revelation was sealed in God’s right hand in Revelation 5, but Jesus opened it starting in Revelation 6, and thus, gave it as ‘the manna from heaven’, as the real food that endures to eternal life. The one who overcomes (i.e. the New John) in Revelation 10 is the only one through whom we can receive this (revelation).

4) Mt 6:12  Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors

⇒ Refer to the explanations of verses 14~15

5) Mt 6: 13 Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

① Lead us not into temptation
Jesus told us to pray this because he knew what would take place at his Second Coming. As seen in Matthew 24, nations will rise against nations and kingdom against kingdom. At that time, many fall into deception and temptation so as to betray each other; and as there is an increase of evil, the destroyer stands on the pulpit. He is telling us to pray to not fall into these temptations and trials.

② But deliver us from the evil one
He is telling us to pray for deliverance from the destroyer during when he strikes and overtakes the chosen people.

③ For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
It is only proper for the power and the glory to be God’s because he is the creator of everything, the Lord of all, and the Lord of lords (1 Cor 15:28; Ep 4:6; 1 Tm 6:15). All created things must befittingly give glory to the maker (creator) of all beings.

● Mt 6: 14-15  For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. *But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Jesus spoke about forgiveness as follows.
In Matthew 18:21-35, the one whose master canceled his debt of ten thousand talents did not forgive his servant who owed him a hundred denarii, but had him thrown into prison until he could pay back the debt. The master, having heard this, called in the one whose debt he canceled, and asked why he threw his servant in prison instead of canceling his debt of a hundred denarii, when the master has canceled his own debt entirely. He then said that he too shall be thrown into jail, until he should pay back all that he owed.
This is a moral teaching regarding forgiveness. One who does not forgive others will not be forgiven.

Mt 6: 33  Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness.

What kingdom is this referring to? It is indeed referring to heaven. One cannot see or touch this heaven. Expressed in parables, heaven comes down on the tree that grows from a seed (Mt 13:31~32). This heaven also comes down on the one who overcomes (Rv 3:12). God’s kingdom (heaven) fulfills here on earth as it is in heaven, and it is to this place that heaven (above) comes down. This heaven is the kingdom that he told us to seek. This kingdom is the sealed twelve tribes of New Spiritual Israel (Rv 7, 14). We must seek and find this kingdom which God and the angels are with. Furthermore, ‘his righteousness’ that we must seek is the revealed word (Rv 10; 14:1~5) and faith, both of which can be found at this kingdom.

God’s will, as well as the objective of our faith that the 66 books of the Bible points to, is the twelve tribes of New Spiritual Israel, the kingdom that is created here on earth as it is heaven. This is the place we as believers must go to.

Shincheonji and Me

Shincheonji and Me

If one is a true believer he must ask the Bible, “Who am I according to the Bible?”

Because creation takes place with the word (Jn 1:1-3), I must reflect myself with the mirror of the Bible and check whether I am created according the promised words.  If I am not created according to the Bible, will I not be an outsider, a sinner, and an enemy of God?

  • Am I born with God’s seed according the promise in the Bible?
  • Have I been harvested to Mt.Zion, God’s barn?
  • Have I been sealed with the word of God?
  • Am I a part of the 12 tribes of God’s promised kingdom?
  • Am I the kingdom and priest of God purchased by Jesus’ blood at the time of the fulfillment of Revelation?
  • Am I the great multitude that has washed my sins with the blood of Jesus?
  • Did I not add to or subtract from Revelation?   Is my name written in the Book of Life?
  • Am I the firstfruit on the tree of life that bears 12 crops of fruit every month?
  • Am I a new creation born again by the word of truth?  (refer to Jn 3:1-5, 1 Pt 1:23, 2 Cor 5:17).

When one is a creation of God created in this way, he can be considered as a person who believes in the New Testament and receives salvation. If one is not related at all to this Bible, how can he be regarded as a believer who believes in God?

We, Shincheonji, have been created in the ways mentioned above. The difference between the person created in such ways and a person who is not created in such ways is heaven and hell. The value behind the walk in beliefs that a congregation member carries is based on going to heaven.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus is

Shincheonji Church of Jesus is

Where the new covenant of Jesus' blood has been fulfilled is Shincheonji Church of Jesus. There is nothing in it which has not been created according to the Bible. It is God's kingdom, the priests and the promised new people according to his word.

God, who is life, had to leave because of man’s sins (Gn 6:1-4). Satan came to rule over the world, and death reigned on the earth ( Mt 4:5-6, Rom 5:14).

Between men and God, there is a barrier of sin. Only through Jesus' blood is it possible to demolish the barrier and to live with the God of life once again. Paul explains this in the book of Hebrews Chapter 8,9, and 10. By overcoming with the blood of Jesus and the words of testimony (Rev 12), Satan (the dragon) can be defeated, be hurled down, and God's Kingdom, his priests and people, will be restored back to their original state.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus is where the new covenant of Jesus' blood has been fulfilled. There is nothing in Shincheonji Church of Jesus which has not been created according to the Bible. Shincheonji is God's kingdom, the priests and the promised new people according to his word.

Shincheonji Says: Reason Why they block others from Learning God's Word

Shincheonji Says,
The Reason Why they Block
others from Learning God's Word

Why do they block others from learning God's word?

The answer to this question is because the word contains the knowledge to distinguish between God and the devil

When someone knows the word of God, he is able to know the difference between the true God and the devil, the true pastor and the false pastor, and Satan’s church members and God’s congregation members.

He can distinguish between the organization of Satan and the organization of God, and the path to heaven and the path to hell. He is able to know the prophecies and the physical entities that fulfilled the prophecies.

This is why the pastors of Satan prevent the people from learning the word of God. When someone knows God's word and His will, Satan loses his place on this earth and becomes trapped and locked up in the Abyss (hell).

If a person distracting and preventing others from learning God’s word has the truth, he would use the truth to reveal any falsehood.  However because he does not have the truth, he uses methods other than the word to prevent others from learning.

The weapons that congregation of Shincheonji can use to fight and be victorious over the false pastors are the truth that we have come to know and the words of testimony.

Do you know the reason why now?

True Cult and True Orthodoxy

True Orthodoxy
and true Cult

Reference: Bible

The Bible does not mention the word orthodoxy. The Bible does mention the word cult, but it does not give a clear definition. There are, however, standards in the Bible believers can use to discern orthodoxy from cult: the one and only true God (Jn 17:3) and false gods (Jn 8:41-44; 2 Thes 2:4); the true vine (Jn 15:1) and wild vines (Dt 32:32-33; Is 5:2); the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gn 2:9); the truth (Jn 1:14; Jn 3:21; Jn 17:17) and lies (Jn 8:44); God’s seed and the devil’s seed (Mt 13:24-25; Mt 13:36-40); the true pastor and false pastors (Jn 8; Mt 15); and heaven and hell (Rv 4; Rv 21-22; 2 Pt 2:4).

The Bible describes how people will all be taught by God (Jn 6:45) and how they will become witnesses for the Lord when the holy spirit rests on them (Acts 1:8).

The Bible, however, does not teach us that we can become pastors after learning from other people or that we can speak from the pulpit and teach others after being ordained. Paul declared, “Even if we (or an angel from heaven) should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be condemned to hell!” (Gal 1:8). Revelation states, “I testify to the one who hears the words of the prophecy contained in this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book,” (Rv 22:18-19). Against whom did God’s prophets, Jesus, and his disciples fight? By whom were they persecuted and murdered? Wasn’t it the pastors and elders of every generation who killed the workers sent by God (Mt 15; Mt 23:34-35; Mt 27; Acts 7:51-54)? Revelation 16, 17, and 18 also describe how groups of false pastors antagonize the Lord at the second coming.

Jesus told us to freely give what we have freely received (Is 55:1; Mt 10:8; Rv 21:6; Rv 22:17). Because Shincheonji is teaching and preaching the Bible free of charge, however, many pastors who charge people for Bible lessons are persecuting Shincheonji and calling us a cult. Which of these two groups is obeying the Bible and which is the true cult—the group that is freely providing teachings according to Jesus’ words in the Bible or the group that is nitpicking about the other group’s faithfulness to Jesus’ commands?

Those who are truly orthodox are the ones who receive and testify about the revealed word according to the will of the holy spirit just as Jesus, Apostle Paul, and Apostle John did. Today, only those who receive the revealed word (i.e. the revelation) from Shincheonji can know the only true God, Jesus, and the one who overcomes. They are the only ones who can attain eternal life and realize their hopes of entering the kingdom of heaven (Mt 11:27; Jn 17:3; Rv 10; Rv 21:1-3).

True Cults are those who tell lies, persecute, curse, and murder others without hesitation in accordance with the will of evil spirits. These people are those who spread the unbiblical and arbitrary teachings of men without knowing the meaning of the Bible (Jn 8:44; Gal 1:8; 2 Thes 2:9-12). The Korean Christian Press recently published the proceedings of several forums. One of these forums, in particular (the seventh), has revealed an unsettling fact concerning the origin of the Christian Council of Korea. “The Christian Council of Korea was originally initiated as an organization of conservative Christian forces in support of Mr. Kim, a Korean politician. Mr. Kim wanted to mobilize conservative forces to support a third term for the Korean president during Korea’s military dictatorship.” (Please refer to the Christian Council of Korea website.)

The forum also declares, “The CCK was established in 1989 with many Korean Presbyterian churches as its charter members. Today, it is considered to be a representative conservative Korean Christian organization.” As the forum has revealed the undeniable facts, the foundation of the CCK was originally intended to meet certain political needs. With its origin focused on the mobilization of conservative Korean Christians for political gain, they cannot claim to be orthodox. Nor can they claim to be representative of Korean Christian organizations. Furthermore, because the Korean Presbyterian Church allowed its members to praise and bow down to the Japanese emperor during the most recent Japanese occupation, how can they shamelessly continue to maintain their claims of orthodoxy? It was Calvin who first founded the Presbyterian Church. Did Calvin obey Jesus’ commands of love, forgiveness, and atonement for sin? Calvin recklessly murdered people who went against his doctrines. Some pastors who belong to the Presbyterian Church have recently driven a man to murder his ex-wife because she refused to change her denomination to Presbyterianism. The CCK is acting just as Calvin did. How can they be considered orthodox?

The chairman of Shincheonji asked recently asked 40 Bible questions to a so-called “cult expert” who belongs to the CCK. The Shincheonji chairman waited patiently, and when the answers were not forthcoming he asked ten more questions. The cult expert still has not been unable to answer those questions. If the CCK cannot explain the Bible correctly, how can they claim to be orthodox? Isn’t their claim simply a scheme to hide their true identity as heretics? These heretics pretend to speak the truth and they pretend to be orthodox. When they call other denominations cults, they do so in an effort to seize more authority to become orthodox by force.

We at Shincheonji would like to make a suggestion. Why don’t 30 representatives of each denomination come out and take a 100-question test regarding the prophecies of the New Testament? We will happily take such a test with the CCK representatives in public. To the CCK members, if you have any confidence at all, please come out and answer our questions.

Those who call Shincheonji a cult and its revealed word a heresy are themselves the true heretics. SCJ has the holy spirit and the true pastor who speaks the revealed word; Shincheonji is truly orthodox (Jn 14; Jn 16; Rv 10). Those who despise Shincheonji and call us a cult are controlled by the devil. They are following the example of those who called Jesus and his disciples heretics (Jn 8; Acts 24:5). Please take a close look at the book Revelation and Commentaries, which was recently published by Shincheonji. Who speaks the truth and who lies? Lies are the seed of the devil (Mt 13:24-28; Mt 13:37-39; Jn 8:44). Shincheonji, on the other hand, has mastered the Bible. The one who overcomes has received the blessings promised in Rv 2 and Rv 3. He, along with the promised twelve tribes—the people who belong to heaven—can both be found in Shincheonji (Rv 7; Rv 14).

Just as God fulfilled the promise he made through Abraham in Moses’ time (Ex 12), and just as God fulfilled the Old Testament at the time of Jesus’ first coming (Jn 19:30), God is accomplishing the New Testament through Shincheonji today. Thus, Shincheonji has been testifying about the physical fulfillment of the New Testament (Rv 1:2; Rv 10; Rv 22:16). Shincheonji is accomplishing the fulfillment of the New Testament (Rv 21:6), which no one in any previous generation was able to accomplish.

No one can know God or receive salvation without the twelve tribes and the one who overcomes (Rv 7; Rv 12). Shincheonji has mastered the Bible. Shincheonji has been created according to the Bible and is living a life of faith according to the Bible. Today, people who lack the revealed word and who misunderstand the Bible are calling Shincheonji a cult. They persecute us because the spirit that controls them is not the spirit of God.

The Tabernacle Temple served as the tabernacle that prepared the way (Rv 13:6). Its leaders made a covenant with God through their blood (Rv 1:20). The Tabernacle Temple and its leaders were swallowed up by the same spiritual forces that are working through the CCK today. At that time, the chairman of SCJ, along with a few others, refused to join hands with those evil forces while they were in the tabernacle. They came out of the promised Tabernacle Temple and made a covenant with God in their blood. Shincheonji is God’s temple, God’s kingdom, and God’s people that have been re-created by blood (Rv 1:5-6; Rv 5:9-10; Rv 7:9-14; Rv 15:4-5). Today Shincheonji is testifying about the physical fulfillment of the New Testament and the revealed word. We in Shincheonji will always carry out our life of faith with justice and fairness. We will also faithfully fulfill our mission as God’s kingdom and priests.

Shincheonji, New Heaven and New Earth

Shincheonji,
New Heaven and  New Earth

Main references: Rv 21 (Rv 6, Rv 7)

What are the new heaven and new earth(in Korean: Shincheonji) in the main chapter? What are the first heaven and first earth that ceased to exist?

The first heaven and earth that passed away was the tabernacle of the Spiritual Israelites and their congregation members. The new heaven and new earth is the tabernacle that is re-created and its congregation members.

It says in Revelation 21, “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and first earth had passed away.” It means that when the new heaven and new earth is created, the first heaven and first earth has already ceased to exist. The Physical Israelites were already brought to an end at Jesus’ first coming, and yet they still do exist. In fact, they were put to an end as God’s chosen people and became gentiles 2,000 years ago.

Likewise, even if the new heaven and new earth has been created today, the Spiritual Israelites still exists. The reality, however, is that they were cut off from God and became gentiles. In other words, they returned to mere flesh and to the world.

God is now with the New Spiritual Israelites, Shincheonji who have been victorious.

  • Rev 21:1
Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

The Reason why CCK who Persecutes Shincheonji

The Reason why
CCK who persecutes Shincheonji

We of Shincheonji are receiving persecution like Jesus did at the First Coming, and just as it is written in Mt 7:13-14, we are walking on the road that leads to life.

Main reference: Jn 13:34~35

The reason why the Christian Council of Korea persecutes Shincheonji is because Jesus dwells within Shincheonji (Jn 15:18 If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first).

Jesus in Jn 14:20, taught in regards to today, “On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you” and as written, we know of this. The Christian Council of Korea do not know this because Jesus is not within them.

Those who want to know the Word and receive salvation can find refuge if they come to Shincheonji. This is what Jesus spoke. Shincheonji the sealed 12 tribes!
This is what Jesus spoke in the bible(Rv 7, 12, 19).
Do you know this fact?

  •  Jn 13:34~35
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.  By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Shincheonji Teaching, Fulfillment of Revelation

Shincheonji Teaching,
Fulfillment of Revelation

  • Main references: Rv 1:1~3

Shincheonji Teaching:
Revelation is the new covenant
Revelation is the New Testament, in other words, the new covenant. This new covenant was made with the blood of Jesus (Mt 26:26-29, Lk 22:14-20).

If the people at the time of Adam and Moses did not receive salvation for not keeping the covenant, can the people who do not believe or keep the new covenant, fulfillment of Revelation today receive salvation? No one should blame Adam and the physical Israelites for not keeping the covenant of God and violating it (Hos 6:7).

They must examine themselves instead and realize that they did not keep the promise but have violated it  also. Although God gave the command to not add or take away from the revelation, many have added and taken away from it. God commanded us to read and keep the words that are written in the Scriptures but many have not kept it. Thus, it is obvious that they have violated the new covenant.

Revelation is the new covenant that Jesus made with his blood. He said that he who reads the words of the prophecy and those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it are blessed (Rv 1:1-3), for they will be a kingdom and priests of God (Rv 1:5-6).

Shincheonji News, "The Time of The Fulfillment of Revelation"

Shincheonji News
"Now is the time of
the fulfillment of Revelation!"

If we do not know the meanings of the prophecies, then we will not be able to perceive or recognize the fulfillment of the prophecies when it happens, even if God is fulfilling them. Because one does not know the prophecies, he can neither understand nor believe in them.  He cannot enter the kingdom of heaven or receive salvation. That is why Shincheonji, which has mastered the Book of Revelation, testifies to the prophecy and fulfillment of Revelation so that the world may know.

Those who want to receive true salvation must believe in the revelation of Jesus(Rv 1:1) more so than the words of men, and must make biblical judgments. Revelation is the revelation of Jesus, and if anyone adds anything to them, or takes words away from the book, he can neither enter the heaven nor avoid disaster (Rev 22:18-19). Do pastors and believers truly believe in these words? Have they not added to took words away from Revelation? Everyone is to be judged according to what has been recorded in the Bible based on their deeds (Rev 20:12). Whoever believes in today’s promised Revelation and its reality will be saved.

God’s purpose is to regain and recreate what He lost and to reign over this world. His plan, the prophecy of the New Testament, is recorded in the Book of Revelation. Thus, God promised to fulfill the prophecies as they are written without adding or taking away from them.

This is the time of the fulfillment of Revelation and the time to keep the promise!

Shincheonji Teaching: "In the Days of Noah and Lot"

Shincheonji Teaching:
"In the Days of Noah and Lot"

The Second Coming of the Lord, like the time of Noah and Lot

Main reference: Mt 24:37-39, Lk 17:26-30

What is the day of Jesus’ Second Coming which is like the days of Noah and Lot?

Noah is the 9th generation descendant of Adam. That era was a period when all mankind were destroyed by the flood, but only 8 people —Noah and his three sons together with their wives—were saved (Gn 6:13-22, 7:11-24, 1 Pt 3:20). Lot is the 11th generation descendant of Noah and the nephew of Abraham who is the 10th generation descendant of Noah. In the days of Lot, a city was destroyed by fire and only 3 people—who are Lot and his family—were saved (Rv 19).

It was the generation of Adam who were destroyed in the days of Noah (Gn 6 and 7) because of their sin; and also, it was sin that led to destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah (Rv 18, Rv 19).

Jesus doubted that he would find faith on earth when he comes (at the Second Coming) (Lk 18:8). Apostle Paul said the Lord would come after the sequence of events of betrayal and destruction. (1 Thes 2:1-4) In Mt 24:29-31, the Lord will come after the temple of Jerusalem is destroyed, as if the sun, moon and stars of heaven are darkened and fall down to the earth. And as written in Rv 13, the saints of God’s tabernacle will be destroyed by the group of the dragon, receive the mark of the beast of the dragon, and worship them. These are the events of Jesus’s Second Coming, which is the end of Spiritual Israel which has existed since the time of Jesus’ First Coming. He has warned us that there will be an event like the days of Noah (Mt 24:37-39, Lk 17:26-30).

Jesus who came as the light (Jn 12:46) said that it is day when he is in the world; however the night will come when Jesus leaves. (Jn 9:4) After Jesus left, the Catholic Church was established in the name of Jesus. However, its corruption caused the Protestants to appear. Not only that, hundreds of religious groups have appeared in this world claiming to believe in God. It is said approximately 80% of ongoing wars in the world are caused by religious conflict between these religious groups.

Can it be said the world is less sinful today than in the days of Noah and Lot? In the days of Noah, all people were destroyed. And in the days of Lot, an entire city was destroyed. If we look upon the world today, there are more than enough weapons to destroy the two mentioned above. However, can it be said that believers or nonbelievers are more righteous than the people in the days of Noah and Lot? They seem to be more sinful and less faithful than those who lived in the days of Noah and Lot. Isn’t it a reality that both the world of religion and politics see evil as righteous and righteous as evil? Because many religious leaders are politically involved, and many politicians are religious as well, they won't believe nor be afraid even if God and Jesus come. This is the reality. When all nations of the world believe in the truth except Korea, Korea like the city of the days of Lot will only be destroyed. Who will they blame? It will be a mistake for those who have chosen evil, not believing in the righteous.

In the days of Noah and Lot, the price that people paid for not listening to the word was destruction. If God, Jesus and the kingdom of heaven come to Korea, Korea will be God’s kingdom of heaven. However, if the people of Korea do not receive this fact, the kingdom of God will be taken away from them and be given to another country with faith just as it is recorded in Matthew 21:33-43. This is attributable to the sins of unrighteous of religious leaders and politicians.

Korea still indulges in persecution and mockery as in the days of Noah and Lot.

If people only loved power and money without knowing the meaning of the Bible and God’s will, they would be distanced from God. The New Testament of the Bible is fulfilled according to the promises. At the time of judgment, people will be judged according to what they had done as recorded in the Bible (Rv 20:12).

Shincheonji Teaching: The Spirit of Truth and the Promised Pastor

The Spirit of Truth, the Counselor
and the Promised Pastor

Main reference: Jn 17:17

What is the relationship between the Spirit of truth, the Counselor and the promised pastor?

Truth is the word of God (Jn 17:17), the “holy spirit” refers to a spirit that is holy, “the Counselor” means a teacher who protects with grace, and “the promised pastor” is the pastor who is promised (prophesied) in advance before God’s promise is fulfilled.

As it is recorded, both the Spirit of truth and the promised pastor are entities that will appear in the future as Jesus prophesied. The promised pastor who speaks on behalf of Jesus is the one all the saints must meet at the appointed time.

The Counselor, the Spirit of truth, came in the name of Jesus (Jn 14:26). Jesus came in the name of God (Jn 5:43), and Jesus said that anyone who sees him has seen the Father (Jn 14:8-10). Is it wrong for the pastor who becomes one with the Spirit of truth, the Counselor, to call himself the Counselor? Isn’t this pastor together with the Spirit of truth? And together, aren’t they the teacher who protects with grace? Answer this. If not, then by this logic, Jesus whom God dwelled with cannot be the Counselor or the Advocate. The Spirit of truth who becomes one with the promised pastor and the pastor who speaks on behalf of Jesus are both Counselors.

The promised pastor who becomes one with the Spirit of truth, the Counselor, is the teacher who protects the congregation with grace. He is the pastor who pours down much grace upon them. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of truth, the Counselor, in him, technically cannot be considered as a believer of God even if he claims to carry a life of faith. How can he have any connections with God if he does not have God’s spirit dwelling in him?
Believers led by the holy Spirit can work while having faith in the holy Spirit.

Is Shincheonji Church a Cult?

Shincheonji Church of Jesus Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony

Shincheonji Church,
a Cult or Not a Cult
That is the Question!

Main reference: Rv 21

Is Shincheonji (Shincheonji Church of Jesus), Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony in the bible, a really cult??

‘ShincheonjI’ is an abbreviation of the Chinese characters for ‘new heaven and new earth’ found in Revelation 21. In the Bible, the first heaven and the first earth pass away, and a new heaven and a new earth appear. God, Jesus, and heaven are promised to come to Shincheonji (refer to Rv 3:12, 21:1-7).

The ‘Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony’ is the temple to where all nations will come and worship, according to Revelation 15:4-5. ‘The Tabernacle of the Testimony’ means it is the tabernacle that testifies to what was seen and heard concerning the events of all the chapters of Revelation. ‘Temple’ means that it is a holy house.

If one calls ‘Shincheonji, Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony,’ that was created according to the Bible, a cult, then one is calling Jesus a cult, and the book of ‘Revelation’ found in the Bible becomes a heretical doctrine. If one does not believe in God, the Bible, or Shincheonji, then it is correct to say one’s faith is wrong.

If one reads ‘commentaries,’ which are arbitrary interpretations of the Bible by men, and calls the Bible heretical, then all bibles on this earth should be burned. And if the Bible, the Christian doctrine, is heretical according to Calvin’s doctrines, then Christianity and the Bible should be burned and Calvin’s doctrines should be taught in place of the Bible.

If one stands for scripture other than the Bible, then one should testify about that scripture so they can be compared. One may hate a person, but one should not hate the words of the Bible. If one thinks a Bible commentary is wrong, then one should say it is wrong. In this case, one should have evidence that shows the commentary to be correct or incorrect.

If Shincheonji, which the Bible speaks of, is wrong, then evidence that proves its falsehood should be brought forward and an alternative (a creation) other than Shincheonji should be presented to take its place. We proposed a public debate of the Bible numerous times in locations all over the country, but to this day not a single person has stepped up to respond.

We told them numerous times, “If Shincheonji is wrong, then step forward confidently and declare the word ‘Shincheonji’ to be wrong, or if Shincheonji’s explanation of the Bible is wrong, then say it is wrong.” But they only rant like a tavern’s dogs barking at the back, so isn’t fitting to call them 'beasts'? (refer to Ps 30:2-3)

Today, those who are unable to defeat Shincheonji with the word of the Bible and only persecute are no different from the pastors and elders of the First Coming who could not defeat Jesus with the truth and only persecuted him.
Shincheonji is the kingdom promised by God.

If one opposes Shincheonji, one cannot enter heaven.
Just like how seven evil spirits come and live within a believer who leaves the truth (refer to Mt 12:43-45), isn’t it true that the world of believers is seven times more evil than the world of non-believers?

The world of believers is corrupt and drunk with false words just as it says in Revelation 18; the corrupted world of believers must be reborn with the revealed word of Jesus.

Shincheonji Teaching: Savior ... in the Bible

Shincheonji Teaching:
Savior is ... in the Bible

The one who carries out these actions is the savior, the pastor of God, who establishes God’s kingdom, Shincheonji (New Heaven and Earth) Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of Testimony.

The physical fulfillment (the real entities and their behaviors) has appeared according to a logical order of the prophecy as recorded in the bible. The book of Revelation is to be fulfilled without being added or subtracted from it (refer to Rv 22:18-19). The one who sees and hears its physical fulfillment, and who testifies about it according to the command, is the savior and the one who overcomes who has created the twelve tribes of God’s new kingdom, Shincheonji.

If you truly believe in God, his prophecy, and fulfillment, you must come and verify it. By believing in them, you can become the people of heaven. This is the testimony from the one who has seen and heard!

Prophecy is the word spoken before it is fulfilled.

Fulfillment is the word that speaks about how prophecy is fulfilled.

A promised pastor is someone who is to witness and testify about the fulfillment when the prophecy is fulfilled. He is the pastor promised in the Bible.

Shincheonji Teaching: John 8, Truth & Freedom

Shincheonji Teaching,
John 8:
The Truth and Freedom

Shincheonji is giving them the opportunity to be born again by giving them the truth.

Main reference: John 8:32-55

Jesus said to the Jews “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free”. The Jews replied to this, saying, “We are Abraham's descendants and have never been slaves of anyone”. Then Jesus said, “Everyone who sins is a slave to sin”. Then he said, “A slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed”. He also said, “I know you are Abraham's descendants. Yet you are ready to kill me”. Jesus said again to the Jews, who were Abraham’s descendants, “I am telling you what I have seen in the Father's presence, and you do what you have heard from your father”.

Jesus said to the Jews that His father was different from the father of the Jews and that His father was God but the father of the Jews was the Devil. He was not talking about physical fathers, but saying that the spiritual fathers of the two were different. This means that although both Jesus and the Jews had bodies of flesh, the spirits in them and their fathers were different.

Even today, although people of The Christian Council of Korea (CCK) and congregation members of Shincheonji have bodies of flesh, they have different spirits and spiritual seeds in them, so their fathers are different as well. That is why people of CCK are persecuting and trying to kill congregation members of Shincheonji and have declared war against Shincheonji. If we make known the truth to them, the truth will set them free. We are aware that as they do not have the truth in them, they were unable to become people of freedom, instead, they became slaves to sin and therefore became our enemies. It is only possible for them to be free from sin and to escape from the Devil, their father, if the truth is in them.

Shincheonji is giving them the opportunity to be born again by giving them the truth. I am not speaking of my own accord and the words I say are not just my own. Rather, the Father who sent me commanded me to say these words. Now is the time of the end of Spiritual Israel and the time of re-creation. Only when one is harvested, sealed and born again, the true God will be his/her father and one who is born again will be a child of God.

Shincheonji Bible Study: Mt 24

Shincheonji Bible Study:
Mt 24, Food at the Proper Time

God re-creates the family and the nation of the new kingdom
through those who keep God’s will and commandments.
The New Testament is the blue print of all this, and
God’s new kingdom is created according to this blue print.

When the prophecies recorded in Mt 24 fulfill in flesh, how many people in the world will be able to see, perceive, and believe in that fulfillment? At that time, the destroyers bring destruction upon the holy temple of Jerusalem and stand there. The ones who are saved at that time are those who flee to the mountains. Did you flee? Those who are destroyed are the people of Spiritual Israel who follow mere traditions. Their destruction is like the sun and the moon that no longer give their light and the stars that fall from the heavens to the earth. This is the end of the religious world, the end of the Church. It is the end of age (the last days).

After the tabernacle of the chosen people is destroyed in this way, the Lord returns to harvest the wheat, the fruits. Someone who gives the food at the proper time also comes. The Lord finds him doing so and puts him in charge of all of the Lord’s possessions (Mt 24:45-47). What is the “food at the proper time” that is given at such a time?

Anyone who does not know the prophecies, their meanings, and when the prophecies are fulfilled will see that his end result is destruction. At the time of the Old Testament’s fulfillment, Jesus spoke of two different types of food in John 6. He differentiated the two types—one was physical food and another was spiritual food. This spiritual food, food for eternal life, was Jesus himself. And as Jesus was the tree of life (refer to Jn 14:6, 15:1, 5), eating Jesus was eternal life.

Apostle Paul was once a loyal follower of Judaism and defended the Law. However, he began to testify to the revelation after he received it from Jesus (Gal 1 ~ 3). In the same way, the prophecy about John’s receiving, eating, and testifying the open scroll (revelation) in Rv 10 is a prophecy that was meant to fulfill. Its fulfillment is the fulfillment of Mt 24 and the Book of Revelation.

Therefore, at the time of the fulfillment of Mt 24, the “food at the proper time” is the prophecy of Mt 24 and their fulfillment (physical entities). At the time of the fulfillment of Revelation, the “food at the proper time” is the prophecies of the Book of Revelation and their fulfillment.

God re-creates the family and the nation of the new kingdom through those who keep God’s will and commandments. The New Testament is the blue print of all this, and God’s new kingdom is created according to this blue print (refer to Gn 1:26-27).

More so than a non-believer, the one who does not know the will of the Bible (New Testament) will be considered as a transgressor who goes against God. Anyone who knows God’s will act according to His will.

No one must be deceived at the time of the end, the time of the Lord’s second coming. He must not fall into temptation or perish from hunger during a famine. Instead, he must eat the food at the proper time which is prepared at the time of the end. All things will now take place according to God’s will. Just like those at the First Coming, the people who have the habit of persecuting and not believing the one Jesus sent, will not change at the Second Coming when he returns. This is why judgment takes place.

Instead of carrying out a life of faith apart from the Bible, I wish for everyone from now on to delve into God, the Word, live a true life of faith, perceive, and be saved.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Temple of Tabernacle of Testimony

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony

  • Main references: Rv 21, Rv 15

What kind of place is Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony? It is New Spiritual Israel and the temple that has been newly created after Spiritual Israel came to its end after 2,000 years.

“Shincheonji” refers to the new heaven and the new earth, which refer to the newly-created tabernacle and the congregation members after the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.

Prophecies regarding the creation of God’s new kingdom are recorded not only in the Book of Revelation, but also in chapter 19 verses 28 to 29 of the Gospel of Matthew, which is one of the Four Gospels.

“Church of Jesus” means that the lord of Shincheonji is Jesus, and that the revelation of Jesus, meaning the doctrine of the New Testament, belongs to Jesus. Shincheonji Church of Jesus is not a Presbyterian or a Calvinist church, and Shincheonji’s doctrine is not the Calvinist commentaries of the Presbyterian denomination.

“The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony” means that it is a tabernacle which testifies to the prophecies of the Book of Revelation and their fulfillment, and “the temple (holy place)” refers to the fact that it is the place where Holy God is; it is not an ordinary church.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony finally comes to appear when Revelation of the New Testament is fulfilled.

The temple created to testify to the fact that the former-heaven (first heaven and first earth), which is the heaven-tabernacle in Rv 13, has been destroyed by the enemies (refer to Mt 24:15) is Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony.

Promised Pastor of Shincheonji & Hidden Manna, in Revelation 2:17

The Promised Pastor of Shincheonji
and Hidden Manna, the Food of
Eternal Life in Revelation 2:17

  • Main reference verses: Revelation 2:17, Revelation 10

Do the congregation members on earth have the Word?

If not, why?

They do not have the Word because their pastors do not have the Word!

Furthermore, the seminary schools do not have the Word to teach these pastors. Revelation 22:18-19 warns that anyone who adds or takes away from Revelation cannot enter heaven and will receive curses (plagues).

Can there be salvation if no one cares to know or even truly understands Revelation?

One must then learn the meaning and fulfillment of Revelation from the pastor who received the revelation as written in Revelation 10. Is this not true?

If a person does not eat, his physical body will die. Likewise, if one’s spirit does not consume spiritual milk, it will die.  Spiritual milk is the prophecy of Revelation and its physical fulfillment.

The one who overcomes (refer to Rv 2, 3), in other words, the promised pastor in Revelation, brings the food of eternal life that heals and resurrects the dry and shriveled spirits that died. Can you believe this? Yet, they call him a heresy.

This food of eternal life is the hidden manna in Revelation 2:17. Finding and eating this hidden manna is finding and eating the food of eternal life.

Shincheonji Teaching: about 'Sin', Hosea 6:7

Shincheonji Teaching:
About 'Sin',
In Hosea 6:7

In Hosea 6:7, Sin is not keeping God’s covenant, like Adam

If we look at the recorded words in Genesis chapter 1of Old Testament literally as the creation of nature, there will be many things that are hard to understand.

Jesus at the time of the New Testament also spoke of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven in parables, not in plain language (Mt 13:34-35).

The cause of the corruption of Adam’s world, Noah’s world, and Moses’ world, Abraham’s descendants, was Satan’s schemes.

The flesh, ignorant of the spirits and Satan’s deception, did not know and thus, committed sin.

Sin is not keeping God’s covenant, like Adam (Hos 6:7)

They sinned, because they were born in the hereditary line of a betrayer, a sinner.

Jesus told the Jews in John chapter 8, “You are doing the things your own father (devil) does” (Jn 8:41-44).

And he told them to be born again by God’s seed and spirit (Jn 3:1-6).

They did Satan’s actions through the characteristics of the spirit of Satan and his deception.

As a result, one must be reborn by God’s seed and spirit.
