As the largest volunteer organization in the world,

we, Shincheonji have always done the work of volunteerism. 

 

Headquarters of Shincheonji in South Korea and our many

 international branches are actively volunteering around the world.  

 

As light met another light and we all joined hands, a sprout emerged.

 

This sprout became a large tree laden with fruit.

 

The world now flourishes and produces

this fruit of light every month and every year in abundance. 

 

The true light that resulted
from this work of volunteerism appeared

as an inheritance of world peace, a fragrant flower
that blossomed within the hearts of people.

 

This fragrance travels through the winds
and clouds until it reaches every nook
and cranny — from the creeks that overflow
with water and the chirping of birds,
all the way to the depths of every ridge.

 

This flower will blossom in the heart of the founder of this volunteer work
and peace as well as the hearts of all people who inherit it('World Peace'). 

 

This is the volunteer work of the eternal inheritance of light.

 

Like Jesus, who was born from the seed of God the Most High,
we in Shincheonji have become messengers of peace.

 

We walk on the path of volunteerism, the path of light,
with peace overflowing in our hearts.

 

This is the path where light meets another light.

 

We, Shincheonji walk this path together
with our founder (Creator) — the founder of this volunteer work
and peace (refer to Is 52:7, Lk 2:14; 19:38-44).

 

This is volunteerism in its most eternal and unchanging form.

Shincheonji is working to create God’s kingdom transcending nationality, race and religion. The reason is because the person who has inherited everything in heaven and earth (Rv 21:7) loves all, just like God loves everything that He has created.

plain walls into beautiful murals that portray the beauty of the world.

Shincheonji Volunteers willingly give up their busy schedules for the beautification of the world one brush stroke at a time.

One Shincheonji Volunteer happily told, " It was a joyful time in which we as Shincheonji volunteers were given the opportunity to portray the wonderful work of God."

As the work of creating a beautiful world into a majestic dwelling, Shincheonji Volunteers and many people of different religions and cultures will and are working hand in hand to fulfill the motto that "We are One."

Without discrimination of cultures and religions, Shincheonji Volunteers work to portray under the motto of <We are One>.

 

A respectable monk who had passed by had seen the murals and was inspired to break all boundaries that separate one another under the heavens in order to experience oneness of religions and cultures.

There are people who are waiting for a helping hand in the dark darkness.
Shincheonji delivers the hoping to find a neighbor that has been marginalized.

The work of Shincheonji volunteer groups became a hope to residents. Shincheonji volunteer work first, began to help low-income residents, to give free haircuts for the elderly, and to serve meals and spend time together with the elders. These volunteer services have since continued, and many people have call

Kwang Sook Kim(45, female) who lives in Gwangju, Ochi-Dhong said, “It’s been a while since I have seen a big smile from the old lady next door.” She also stated the volunteer work from Shincheonji Church is sincere and heartfelt.

Since the start of summer vacation, the volunteers
have gathered students who do not have a mom or dad, and have given free tutoring, cooked together with them, helping students forget about the hot summer.

 Mi Young Lee (28, female) is part of Shincheonji volunteer group and said, “We are the ones who get served by serving other people.”
Ms. Lee stated, “If I open the window, do the laundry, clean all the dust and finish organizing my area, ‘I’m the one who feel the happiness.” She promised that she will serve anywhere help is needed.

One of the representatives from Shincheonji Gwangju Zion Church said, “The work of serving is the mindset that all believers should have. Just like the sky pours upon us constant light, rain and air, our serving work to help a life to live will continue in the same way for the residents in this area.”

I Think that the world retains love and hope thanks to humanitarians like Shincheonji volunteers, who practiced love for the disadvantaged in Korean society.

As a part of ‘Pracice of Love, Shincheonji volunteer work of Love ’, the volunteer work of serving for the farming area, cleaning and purifying Mt. Moo-Deung, cutting hair, molting, helping elders and tutoring are ongoing volunteer work from Shincheonji Gwangju Zion Church. This volunteer group is like a great dutiful son for that region.

The farming season has been on going since last May, and this volunteer group visited to help anywhere a hand was needed to work on strawberry, tomato and pepper farms. The owner of a tomato farm, Kwon, Mi Sook (52, female) stated, “Due to a lack of helping hands, there were many hardships and I could only sleep two hours a day, but now, I am so much thankful because I received help from Shincheonji Church.” 

These farming areas still need more help along with harvesting each item, such as getting rid of the weeds and checking the vinyl houses for future harvest.


One small act of love can bring the biggest change to society.
I also think that volunteering of Shincheonji is one way to share love and happiness.
