18. I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

I(Man Hee Lee) came as the messenger who speaks on behalf of Jesus as promised (Rev 22:16). I am the one who hears, sees, and testifies to God’s secret as described in Am 3:7. I myself am not important; it is the physical entities that I testify to that one must see and believe in order to become a person who keeps the promise.

People who do not know or believe in the physical entities of the New Testament that Jesus promised cannot reach their hope. It would be crazy for a person to call another believer a heretic when he himself does not know himself nor the promises of the Bible.

The Book of Revelation, the events of the last days, cannot be added to or taken away from (Rev 22:18-19). That is a promise between God and the people. Included in these events of the entire Book of Revelation (chapter 1 ~ 22) are the works of the chosen people who betray, the works of the Gentile destroyers, and the works of the savior. Revelation also records the number of those organizations, the order in which they appear, and their location of appearance.

The chosen people who betray, the Gentile destroyers, and the savior are the mysteries that have come to appear. It is at the time of their appearance that the chosen people who followed only tradition betray due to the destruction of the destroyers; consequently, this world becomes the world of the destroyers. Both those who seek the way (believers) and those who are of the world see this but do not know. This is because it is a religious war between the spirits.

from the Book of Revelation(Rev 22:18-19)

Like in Revelation 2 and 3, he wrote to the pastors of the seven churches by Jesus’ orders; just as in Revelation 10, he received and ate the open scroll from Heaven and received orders; and as in Revelation 22:8, he saw and heard the fulfillment of every event in the book of Revelation. At the time of the first coming of Jesus, people did not receive Jesus, the promised pastor, the shepherd promised through the Old Testament, and rather persecuted him. Will we repeat those actions today and block the message of the messenger of Jesus and not listen?

God said anyone who adds anything to or takes words away from the book of Revelation, which is the final promise of God, will not enter Heaven (Rev 22:18-19). Could one still claim to be orthodox and judge and curse others as heresy? How could they be quick to judge anyone as heresy when they themselves do not understand the meaning of the New Testament or the promise in it?

Today, as written in Revelation 22:16, the one who was sent to the churches and was ordered to proclaim what he saw and heard, the messenger of Jesus – the promised pastor – has come. 

The prophecy in Revelation and its fulfillment is a promise made between God and believers living today.

Shincheonji Teaching: Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil

♣ Let’s carefully examine "the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil".
 
Both the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil are metaphors; the trees represent God and the devil, respectively.

Those with whom God dwells are trees of life, and those with whom the devil dwells are trees of the knowledge of good and evil.

Jesus disclosed in parables the secrets of the kingdom of God, which had been hidden since the creation of the world (Mt 13:34-35).

Jesus could only speak in parables because it was not yet the appointed time when he would speak plainly (Jn 16:25).

Jesus speaks plainly in the time of the second coming when the prophecies of Revelation are fulfilled (Rv 21:6).

Revelation only mentions the existence of the tree of life because the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which is also referred to as Babylon (Dn 4:20), is destroyed and ceases to exist (Rv 17; Rv 18).

Proverbs 13:12 says that a longing fulfilled is like a tree of life. Proverbs 11:30 says that a person who receives wisdom is like a tree of life.

Jesus fulfilled a longing by overcoming (Jn 16:33) and fulfilling the prophecies (Jn 19:30).

In the same way, today’s promised pastor, the one who overcomes, becomes the tree of life by overcoming (Rv 2; Rv 3; Rv 12) and establishing the twelve tribes (Rv 7; Rv 21:6).

The one who overcomes has mastered the Bible (Rv 10:8-11). He has been born of and has grown by the seed of life (the word). The spirit of the Lord has united with the one who overcomes according to the Bible (Rv 3:12, 21).

This is what it means for the holy spirit to come (Mt 13:31-32). These explanations are the evidence that proves that the one who overcomes is the tree of life.

Anyone who wants to attain salvation must come to the tree of life that bears twelve kinds of crops every month. He or she must become one of the firstfruits of the tree of life. God gives birth to the firstfruits through the word of truth (Jas 1:18).

The people who belong to the twelve tribes, Shincheonji are sealed by God’s word of truth, and their membership in the twelve tribes is evidence that they are part of the firstfruits. These  firstfruits of the tree of life learn the new song at Mt. Zion according to Rv 14.
