It means to someone to change their original religion to another.

The reason why coercive conversion is a problem is because

It involves criminal acts such as Kidnapping, captivity and assault towards those who refuse to be converted against their will.

Coercive conversion destroys one's life and family.
And it is becoming a social issue in many countries Currently, coercive conversion in the Republic of Korea is controlled by Christian pastors.

The first time, she escapes and springs into action, rallying against coercive conversion program.

The second time, she suffocates to death.

Her name is ji-in Gu. She's not the only victim.

In recent days there has been much attention given to the abuses of religious freedom around the world. The United States is increasing efforts to aid people in desperate need o protection form religious persecution. In war-torn nations or emerging and newly formed democracies struggle for stability and religious subjugation exists.

Few would think Ji-in Gu's tragedy occurred in the home of K-pop, South Korea.

 Cheonji News: Awareness Campaign on Coercive Conversion Goes International

This is New York Times message titled "Ban Coercive Conversion" was released in commemoration of the one-year anniversary o the death of Ji-in Gu of Hwasun, Jeonnam in South Korea.

She was kidnapped and forced to give up her vested rights due to the demands of a church determined to change her religion.
The message brings this serious issue bock into focus.

In this way, I am very proud of my country, Korea. 

 

 

 

 

On the other hand,

 

 

Inhumane Coercive Conversion Program of CCK in Korea, is a disgrace to our country, South Korea. 

Few would think Ji-in Gu's tragedy occurred in the home of K-POP, South Korea.

So, I feel very ashamed  this Coercive Conversion Program of CCK in Korea.

Above all, what I don't understand, the Korean government remains silent.....

 

 

 

 

 

Coercive conversion programs are literally programs through which people are forced to  convert their religion.

 

There are no coercive conversion programs in Christianity, which hold to God's teachings. "Coercive" means to force someone to do something against their will under pressure, religious conversion means to change one's religion from one to another, such as from Buddhism to Christianity and "coercive programs" here refers to programs that are forced upon people.

 

Such coercive conversion program in Korea!!!

Why is the Korean government letting this happen?

Why???

 

 



Why Must CCK Disband

 

CCK (Christian Council of Korea) must repent and disband~!

Q) Why does the CCK put the blame on Shincheonji, Church of Jesus (Shincheonji Church) of Their own wrongdoings?

A) This is because the false doctrines of CCK have been exposed by the truth form Shincheonji church.

Then they must correct everything they have done wrong!
All believers desire the truth.

 

Following are some of the corruptions of CCK.

CCK does not have the word of God, but rather full of teachings of worldly matters and lies.

CCK have bought and sold the Chairman position and pastor certificates.
Neither in the Bible nor in the world have we seen such corruption.

 

During the period when Korea was under the Japanese colonial rule, the Presbyterian Church of Calvinism worked as the informants of Japan who trampled and destroyed our country and people, and incited pastors from each denomination to worship and praise the Japanese god.

This was a violation of the very fist commandment from the Law of God.
This is the root of CCK.
Then to belong to?
Is it the tree of life or the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?

 

Also, the Presbyterian denomination, which is the majority of CCK, instigated a joint movement with other denominations supporting the Constitutional Amendment for the third Term during the period when the government took control through a coup d'état. How can this be the command of God?
Even until now, abusing the power of the world is clearly an offence to the Constitution.

 

Amid such corruptions of the CCK, many believers have left and came to Shincheonji Church in pursuit of the truth.
However, the coercive conversion pastors, who are affiliated with the CCK, have instigated the parents of the Shincheonji church congregation in their attempts to reclaim their congregation and to make monetary profit.

The parents brought their children to attend the coercive conversion programs, using forceful methods violation human rights such as kidnapping, confinement and violence, and when the person was not converted, then they were even sent to mental institutions.
 

Consequently, tow members of the Shincheonji church congregation have lost their lives during this coercive conversion program.

CCK must take responsibility for this tragedy. 

 

Religious organizations and politicians from different parts the world are hosting rallies against the coercive conversion programs of CCK, and the United Nations headquarter and Washington D.C. have denunciated it as a disgraceful action towards the name of religion.

Why have the Korean government and media closed their eyes towards this?

The congregation members of our churches are people with the same rights, who are also believers and intellectuals.

Many of them are even wiser than those ignorant pastors of CCK.

God fulfilled every promise even at the time of Moses as well as at the time of Jesus' first coming(refer to John 19:30, Revelation 21:6).

Believers carrying out a life of faith and God believe in the promise.

 

The pastors form the CCK have distorted over 200 parts of the New Covenant, which is the word of prophecy that will be fulfilled, promised by the blood of Jesus (Luke 22:14-20).

They have changed the meaning of the New Covenant and preached lies to the people.

Shincheonji church is teaching the truth based on the correct testimony.

 

Jesus said in Matthew 13 that two types of seeds were sown in the churches of Jesus, and he said that the seed is the word of God(Luke 8:11). Jesus said the seed of the word of truth from God becomes the sons of God, and the seed of the lies (weed) are the words of the devil and they become the sons of the devil((Mat 13:38-39).

Shincheonji church is correcting the wrong teachings of lies of CCK with the word of truth.

 

Being born of the seed of truth and becoming God's children and entering the Kingdom of Heaven is better than being born of the seed of lies and becoming the children of the devil to go to hell.

The CCK must keep this in mind.

 

The CCK had declared war against Shincheonji church, and Shincheonji church have declared World Peace and Cessation of War.

Shincheonji church has been carrying out a global peace movement since the Declaration of World Peace proclaimed on 25th of may 2013.

 

The CCK must stop their actions of anti-nation, anti-society and anti-religion, dividing the Korean citizens and believers, violating the Constitution and oppressing the freedom of religion.

The CCK must repent and voluntarily disband.

Keep in mind that this is the only way to live.

 

God will judge.

Conversion pastors affiliated with the CCK have under taken coercive conversion programs that violate human rights though violence, confinement and kidnapping.

Conversion pastors deceive and instigate the parents of youth by making them put plaster on the mouth of their children, put handcuffs on their hands and legs, lock them up in a room and forcefully ask their children to change their religion with lies full of personal insults. Also, the pastors use the parents to make their children forcefully defer their studies or work and put the blame on Shincheonji with lies that Shincheonji is instigating these actions.

 

From this coercive conversion process, there have already been two cases of murders of a woman and young adult congregation member of Shincheonji. However, CCK has not taken any responsibility in regards to these murders.

 

Religious organizations and politicians from different parts the world are hosting rallies against the coercive conversion programs of CCK, and the United Nations headquarter and Washington D.C. have denunciated it as a disgraceful action towards the name of religion. Coercive conversion program of CCK is a criminal act that is against religion, a crime that violates Article 20, Clause 1 of the Constitution on the Republic of Korea, and therefore denies the Republic of Korea.
