This article is a must-see for those who misunderstand that the serpent of the Genesis, which appears in the Bible, has a cylindrical body, thin and long body, and its skin is covered with scales and takes off its serpent skin when it is old.

Let's break your stereotype, in the Bible

😎 Genesis 3:1-5
  1. Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"
  2. The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,
  3. but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' "
  4. "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman.
  5. "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

The serpent, which appeared in Genesis, also appears at the first coming of Jesus and at the time of the Second Coming of Jesus in Revelation.

What does the serpent's reality look like at the time of Jesus' first coming?

Let's hear what Jesus said firsthand.

πŸ˜‡ Matthew 23:33

:33  "You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?
:13  "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites!
:15  "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites!
:16  "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites!
:17  You blind fools!
:19  You blind men!
:23 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites!
:24  "Woe to you, blind guides!
:25  "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites!
:26. Blind Pharisee!
:29  "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites!
:33  "You snakes! You brood of vipers!

Aha~ !!!
Jesus tells them that the snake and the serpent were teachers of law and Pharisees.
They were religious leaders at that time.
At that time, the leaders of the Jews must have hated Jesus very much.  (Refer to Bible verse below)

Well, shall we move on to the Book of Revelation?
What does the book record the reality of the serpent?
Finally, the snake's true reality is revealed.

At the time of Jesus' first coming, the reality of the serpent was the scribe and the Pharisees, who lived as a spirit house in man, and finally the real reality of the serpent at the time of Genesis is revealed in Revelation.

Let's go to chapter 12 of the Book of Revelations.

The dragon is chased after losing the war in heaven.
Here the identity of the ancient serpent of the Genesis is revealed.

  • Revelation 12:9  The great dragon was hurled down--that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

In Chapter 12 of the Book of Revelations,  the dragon is chased, but in Chapter 20 of the Book of Revelations, he is seized, bound, thrown into the Abyss and locked. (Rev 20:1-3)

  • Revelation 20:2  He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.
