The Name Shincheonji Church of Jesus,
the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony
The name Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, originated 2,000 years ago, in the prophecy of Revelation.
It was promised through Apostle John by Jesus, who received it from God. Two thousand years later, the name appeared today as the temple that fulfilled the prophecy.
The name shincheonji is the abbreviation for "new heaven, new earth" which is Shin-cheon-shin-ji in Korean in Revelation 21:1.
Church of Jesus means that Jesus is the Lord of the church, because the creation of Shincheonji was the revelation and the promise (Revelation 1) of Jesus Christ.
The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony is the name promised in Revelation 15:4-5.
In Revelation chapters 1, 2, and 3, Jesus commands the messenger he has sent the one who overcomes from Revelation 22:16 and Revelation 2-3 to send the letter on his behalf to the messengers of the seven churches.
He also sends this messenger, who has eaten the open book , Revelation, from heaven and witnessed all the events of Revelation 22:8, to testify to the churches Revelation 22:16. Hence, the name is the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony.
Also, it is called the temple, because God dwells in it(Rev 21, Rev 15, Rev 3:12). That makes thedwelling place a house that is holy - a temple. This temple was established fulfilling all the prophecies of the New Testament's Revelation that God had promised. Therefore, it is called Shincheonji, Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony.
