Shincheonji, why did they gather in Gwanghwamun Square on a rainy day?
On Dec. 24th, Shincheonji hosted a large-scale rally against the Christian Council of Korea & CBS in Gwanghwamun Square.
Shincheonji which has been persecuted and despised by the Korean churches has come up with a massive counterattack stating that "the Christan Council of Korea and CBS are the real antinational, antisocial and antireligious organizations."
Since then, Shincheonji's claim has been widely published in daily newspapers throughout the country, and it is anticipating changes in Korean Christian community.
On the day of the Gwanghwamun rally, there was 'Zion Christian Mission Center Graduation Ceremony for class' of Shincheonji was held in Ilsan Gyeonggi Province which was last graduation ceremony in 2017.
In 2017, about 23,000 people graduated from Zion Christian Mission center and became Shincheonji Church members.
This amazing number equals to 23 large churches with a capacity of 1,000 people being moved to Shincheonji
The secret of Shincheonji's growth is outstanding preaching which is the 'truth' coming from the above.

On Dec. 24th, on Gwanghwamun square, Jongno-gu Seoul, a large-scale rally was held by Shincheonji church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle(Shincheonji) denouncing the Christian Council of Korea & CBS
On the day, more than 30,000 members of Shincheonji church has claimed that "the Chrstian Council of Korea & CBS are taking antinational, antisocial and antireligious actions and putting everything on Shincheonji.
Shincheonji church members strongly stated that "the Christian Council of Korea & CBS are the real antinational, antisocial and antireligous organizations. They are interrupting Shincheonji's volunteer work, patriotism and peace movement and overturning the Supreme Court's ruling with continuing lies and distortions.

The fact that large-scale rallies are held at Sejong-daro in front of Gwanhwamun means that people are eager for change.
A lot of history of Korea has been re-written in the near place where the Blue House is located.
There have been occasional rallies to complain about political and social issues, but the Gwanghwamun rally held on Christmas Eve which was rainy day gave a different impression.
Shincheonji which has been unilaterally persecuted and despised by the Korean Christian community showed the reality of corruption in Korean Christian community and urged changes.
