Elijah and Ahaziah in the Bible

Elijah & Ahaziah Story
in the Bible

Is it because there is no God in Israel that
you are going off to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron?

Main reference: 2 Kings 1:1~18

  • The Wrong Idea of Ahaziah
1. After Ahab’s death, Moab rebelled against Israel.

2. Now Ahaziah had fallen through the lattice of his upper room in Samaria and injured himself. So he sent messengers, saying to them, “Go and consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron, to see if I will recover from this injury.”

  • The Appointed Duty of Elijah the Tishbite
3. But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, “Go up and meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and ask them, ‘Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going off to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron?’

4. Therefore this is what the Lord says: ‘You will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!’ ” So Elijah went.

5. When the messengers returned to the king, he asked them, “Why have you come back?”

6. “A man came to meet us,” they replied. “And he said to us, ‘Go back to the king who sent you and tell him, “This is what the Lord says: Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending messengers to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!” ’ ”

7. The king asked them, “What kind of man was it who came to meet you and told you this?”

  • Guise of Elijah the Tishbite
8. They replied, “He had a garment of hair and had a leather belt around his waist.” The king said, “That was Elijah the Tishbite.”

  • First, Ahaziah Sends to Elijah a captain with his company of fifty men
9. Then he sent to Elijah a captain with his company of fifty men. The captain went up to Elijah, who was sitting on the top of a hill, and said to him, “Man of God, the king says, ‘Come down!’ ”

10. Elijah answered the captain, “If I am a man of God, may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men!” Then fire fell from heaven and consumed the captain and his men.

  • Second, Ahaziah Sends to Elijah a captain with his company of fifty men
11. At this the king sent to Elijah another captain with his fifty men. The captain said to him, “Man of God, this is what the king says, ‘Come down at once!’ ”

12. “If I am a man of God,” Elijah replied, “may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men!” Then the fire of God fell from heaven and consumed him and his fifty men.

  • Third, Ahaziah Sends to Elijah a captain with his company of fifty men
13. So the king sent a third captain with his fifty men. This third captain went up and fell on his knees before Elijah. “Man of God,” he begged, “please have respect for my life and the lives of these fifty men, your servants!

14. See, fire has fallen from heaven and consumed the first two captains and all their men. But now have respect for my life!”

15. The angel of the Lord said to Elijah, “Go down with him; do not be afraid of him.” So Elijah got up and went down with him to the king.

  • Elijah says to Ahaziah the Word of the Lord
16. He told the king, “This is what the Lord says: Is it because there is no God in Israel for you to consult that you have sent messengers to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Because you have done this, you will never leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!”

  • Ahaziah dies
17. So he died, according to the word of the Lord that Elijah had spoken. Because Ahaziah had no son, Joram succeeded him as king in the second year of Jehoram son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah.

18. As for all the other events of Ahaziah’s reign, and what he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?

Revelation

Revelation is
a book of Prophecy!

What kind of book is Revelation?
Let's find out the answer in the Revelation(bible)!
Okay. Let's do it~!!

  • Revelation 1:1
The Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave Him ...... (Refer Revelation image below)
Acording to Revelation 1:1, this is Revelation of Jesus Christ.
After Christ ascended, he called Apostle John to heaven and showed him what will fulfill in the future.
That is, Revelation.

Main references: Revelation 1:3, Revelation 22:7, Revelation 22:10, Revelation 22:18~19

The events of Revelation point to the warfare between God and the devil. As those who belong to God overcome, salvation and God’s new kingdom can come (Revelation 21:1-7).

Revelation is a book of prophecy. Its fulfillment is the event which occurs during the time of Jesus’ second coming. Just as the Old Testament was fulfilled at the time of the first coming, Revelation in the New Testament is fulfilled without adding to and/or subtracting from it (Revelation 21:6).

At the time of the fulfillment, the word of prophecy becomes the embodiment, and the flesh entities (actual realities) appear.

This is what Jesus asks us to see and believe (John 14:29).

John saw a vision during the time of prophecy, but at the time of the fulfillment, the New John (the one who overcomes) witnesses the physical fulfillment from Revelation chapter 1 through chapter 22, and he receives the opened scroll. According to the command he receives, he is sent to the churches to give the testimony just as it says in Revelation 22:16. Therefore, this testimony is the truth.

The promised pastor who is sent [by Jesus] knows the physical entities of the entire book of Revelation. Except for the promised pastor, whoever interprets Revelation according to his own thoughts is a deceptive liar. I pray that everyone will listen to the promised pastor and attain their hope.

Revelation is a book of Prophecy!
Let's check it out in the Revelation (Bible)~!
Here we go~!

  • Revelation 1:3
Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

  • Revelation 22:7
“Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”

  • Revelation 22:10
Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near.

  • Revelation 22:18~19
I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

The Fulfillment of Revelation by Jesus

God’s Final Work:
The Fulfillment of the Book of Revelation

-The Fulfillment of Revelation by Jesus-

Main references: Revelation 7, Revelation 21:27, 22:16~19

What is the fulfillment of Revelation, God’s final work?

Jesus promises the Revelation, and he has come and is fulfilling it today. Jesus has sent his angel [messenger] to give them this testimony (all the events of Revelation) for the churches and whoever wishes will take the free gift of the water of life (food that gives eternal life).

However, those who do not believe and who have added to or taken away from the book of Revelation cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Only those who are sealed and whose names are written on the book of life can enter the kingdom of heaven.

This is the fulfillment of Revelation, God’s final work!

  • Revelation 22:16~19
“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.” The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

  • Revelation 21:27
Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Shincheonji was Named after the Promise in the Bible

Shincheonji was Named
after the Promise in the Bible

  • Main references: Hebrews 8:13, Revelation 21:1

“Shincheonji” (New Heaven and Earth) was named after the promise in the Bible. It was created with faith in this promise.

The lies made up by those who are not named after the promise in the Bible cannot be the truth, because they do not believe in the promise and they are not created accordingly.

Like the time of Jesus’ first coming, people who are not created or born again according to the Bible will accuse others as heresies; they will accuse those who have been created and born again. However, that does not make the accused a true heresy.

A life of faith that is not reborn but follows the ways of the traditional church will come to an end as written in Revelation 21.

As it is recorded, the obsolete and corrupt tradition ends (Heb 8:13) but new era of the new heaven and new earth (Shincheonji) has come.

Shincheonji, the new heaven and earth is the new creation that is made according to the promise of the new covenant.

Just like how Israel’s Solomon at the Old Testament Era worshiped gentile gods (1Kgs 11), the Christians in Korea
worshiped the emperor of Japan during the era of Japanese colonization. And as pointed out in the 7th Forum
by the Korean Christian Media Association (April, 2008), Christian denominations, majority of them Presbyterians,
were brought together to support the change in Korean constitution to extend the repeated presidency of the Korean
president at the time (year 1969). From this gathering emerged the Christian Council of Korea (year 1989).

[Shincheonji Cartoon] Find the Dissimilar Actions

Interesting Cartoon
"Find the dissimilar actions"

2,000 years ago and Today, "To Find the dissimilar actions"

Those who killed the Old Testament prophets were the pastors of the chosen people, not of the gentiles or the non-believers. Those who killed Jesus and his disciples at the First Coming were not the gentiles or the non-believers, but the pastors of the chosen people. The persecutors were also the pastors of the chosen people, Judah and Jerusalem. As can be seen in John 8, the chosen people of Israel were the ones who persecuted and killed, meaning, the people of Judah, the Pharisee pastors and their people.

★ In order to understand the level of persecution
1. He does not keep the Sabbath (Mt 12; Jn 5:1-16).
2. He calls God his own father (Jn 5:18).
3. He deceives others (Lk 23:2).
4. He asserts eternal life (Jn 8:51-59).
5. He is demon-possessed (Jn 8:52).
6. He is a plague (Acts 24:5 NKJV).
7. He calls himself a king (Jn 19:18-22).
8. He is a heretic (Acts 24:5).
...among others.

Blah~ Blah~ blah~ blah~

★ In order to take a look for persecution directed at the Promised Pastor and his denomination
(organization) at the time of Jesus' Second Coming, in order to find out the level of persecution.

1. He calls himself "the lord" of his denomination.
2. They claim eternal life.
3. They say that they are harvesting.
4. He is suffering from an incurable disease.
5. They are heretics.
6. He is demon-possessed.
7. He is a crook.
8. They assault people and kidnap them.
9. He claims to be Jesus.
10. He claims to be the Counselor.
11. They call themselves Shincheonji (new heaven and new earth).
12. They call themselves, "the Tabernacle of the Testimony."
13. They are an illegal organization.
14. They claim that the Mission Centers in which they teach the Bible are free of cost.

These are the reasons people use to declare war

Shincheonji is not only persecuted, but Shincheonji even has someone who was beaten to death among our congregation members. Words of criticism and persecution on Internet blogs are hard to even watch. Are these actions according to Jesus' commandments?

Numerous times, Shincheonji requested public debates. Shincheonji even sent them letters asking them to explain. No one replied to this. The fact that their congregation members are gathering to the City of Truth, Shincheonji, means that things are being fulfilled according to the Bible, and it is because they are not teaching the Bible correctly that the congregation members are coming to a place where the Bible is taught well.

The place that declared war on Shincheonji is experiencing a dramatic decrease in the number of its congregation members, and its denomination is broken into two's and three's, calling each other, "heretics." They are even buying and selling pastorships and presidencies with money. Is this God's will? Is this truth of life? Light and salt?
They may perceive if conversations were carried out, but there is not a single person to converse with through the Word of Bible.

Satan and his pastors use the same methods then and now. The words, "For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in" (Mt 23:13), apply to this. The congregation members of the place where it became old and corrupt, obsolete and betrayed only believe in the words of their own pastors rather than God and the Bible. And with the same mindset as their pastors, the congregation members condemn and curse the messenger whom God (Jesus) sent, and with the same lies persecute, murder, go against the messenger, call him a heretic and claim that he is demon-possessed, and block the congregation members from going to find the truth.

God and heaven are in Rv 3:12.
Can you find and come to that place?
This is the promised kingdom, our hope, and heaven where God is.
This is the destination of life of faith--it is where God purposed.

Solomon's Tragedy in the Bible

Solomon's Tragedy
in the bible
Kings 11:1~13

Who's Solomon in the bible?
Solomon's great wealth, Solomon's numerous achievements and Solomon's wisdom,,, but, Jesus said like this in the bible(Mt 6:29), "Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these."
Why was Jesus saying this?

Well, shall we go,,, into the bible?

Solomon's Heart Turns from the Lord

Kings 11:1~13

1 King Solomon, however, loved many foreign women besides Pharaoh’s daughter—Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians and Hittites.

2 They were from nations about which the Lord had told the Israelites, “You must not intermarry with them, because they will surely turn your hearts after their gods.” Nevertheless, Solomon held fast to them in love.

3 He had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines, and his wives led him astray.

4 As Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and his heart was not fully devoted to the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father had been.

5 He followed Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and Molek the detestable god of the Ammonites.

6 So Solomon did evil in the eyes of the Lord ; he did not follow the Lord completely, as David his father had done.

7 On a hill east of Jerusalem, Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the detestable god of Moab, and for Molek the detestable god of the Ammonites.

8 He did the same for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and offered sacrifices to their gods.

The Lord became angry with Solomon because his heart had turned away from the Lord , the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice.

10 Although he had forbidden Solomon to follow other gods, Solomon did not keep the Lord ’s command.  Ex 20:3(First one of the Ten Commandments)

11 So the Lord said to Solomon, “Since this is your attitude and you have not kept my covenant and my decrees, which I commanded you, I will most certainly tear the kingdom away from you and give it to one of your subordinates.

12 Nevertheless, for the sake of David your father, I will not do it during your lifetime. I will tear it out of the hand of your son.

13 Yet I will not tear the whole kingdom from him, but will give him one tribe for the sake of David my servant and for the sake of Jerusalem, which I have chosen.”

Ultimately, Solomon betrayed God, even through Solomon had wisdom, authority, riches, and honor. In th Bible(1 Kings 11:1~13), Solomon worshiped and bowed down to the gentile gods and as a result, the nation had been divided into north and south. Eleven tribes became gentiles as North Israel, and in Jerusalem in the south, Judah was the only tribe left. As written in Is 1, according to God’s words of 1 Kings 11.

Who's Solomon in the bible?
Can you let(tell) people know exactly who Solomon is?

※ Not even our crisps are our bible knowledge safe, so what shall we do?

Shincheonji, Prophecies and Fulfillment Testifying in the Bible

Shincheonji,
Testifying about
the Prophecies and
their Fulfillment
in the Bible

Those who are swarming to Shincheonji

Despite the fact Shincheonji is being intensely persecuted, mocked, and hindered by Babylon (the nation of evil spirit: Rv 17, 18), the congregation members of the existing churches are swarming to Shincheonji. They were once in the places, which became arid because of the corruption, and when they heard the word of the water of life, they ran to Shincheonji.

Now having been born again of the revealed word, they are giving glory to the Lord. The Christian Council of Korea has witnessed this. However, instead of repenting, they made commentaries with personal interpretations on the book of Revelation, and they hand out these commentaries and teach their members with them.

They do such work thinking, if they teach their members Revelation, then it would stop them from going to Shincheonji. Those commentaries, in fact, are not the Bible, but are the words of the devil himself and his explanations, rather than the explanations of the holy spirit. They are false testimonies. What has straw to do with grain? (refer to Jer 23:28)

God is the one who prophesied the book of Revelation, and He is the one who has fulfilled it. It is not man, but God alone who allows us to know the secrets recorded in the Bible.

It is only the messenger who speaks on behalf, the promised pastor of Shincheonji, one person, who is capable of testifying about the prophecies and their fulfillment.

Look at the promises in the Bible.

Generations of Heavens and Earth

The Generations
of the Heavens
and the Earth

Main references: Genesis 1

These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.

In the beginning, God (the One and Only God) created the heavens and the earth.

On the first day, God created the light.

On the second day, He created an expanse (sky, heaven) between the waters.

On the third day, dry ground appeared from among the waters, which he called “land.”

On the fourth day, God created the greater light, the lesser light, and the stars.

On the fifth day, God created birds to fly above the earth and across the expanse, and fish to live in the waters.

On the sixth day, God created the wild animals, livestock, and creatures that move along the ground, and He also created man in the image and likeness of God.

God did the work of creation for six days, and...
On the seventh day, He rested.

Let us analyze the things created within the six days in Genesis, next time ~.~

Shincheonji Bible Study "To Not Go Naked"

Shincheonji Bible Study
"To Not Go Naked,
What Shall We do?"

"To Not Go Naked" is continued from last time Clothes Meaning in the Bible http://nomorenightriver.blogspot.kr/2015/10/shincheonji-bible-study-clothes-meaning.html

Main references: Revelation 3:18

  • Revelation 3:18
I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.

The holy spirit of God planted the seed of the living word into a field?the heart of his chosen pastor (1 Cor 3:9). After the seed was planted, it sprouted and grew up into a big tree where birds could come and perch. This tree of life yields the fruit of life, which according to Mt 13, represent people born of the word of truth. This tree is himself a child and fruit of God. Others can attain eternal life by eating this fruit of the word of life (Gn 3:22).

Babylon, on the other hand, is the kingdom of demons. Demons plant the seeds of weeds (i.e. the devil’s lies) in their fields?the hearts of Babylon’s pastors. Those seeds grow to become trees of the knowledge of good and evil. The evil birds representing evil spirits come to perch in these trees (Rv 18:2). The fruits of these trees of evil spirits contain the seeds of the devil’s words. The living spirits of those who hear and accept (eat) these fruits of Satan will die. The venom of the serpent (i.e. the words of the evil spirits) kill them (Ez 18:4).

The Bible testifies that the two trees in the Garden of Eden re-appear in the times of Moses, Jesus’ first coming, and Jesus’ second coming, which is the time of Revelation’s fulfillment. Babylon is the kingdom of the serpent and the dragon. The beast with seven heads and ten horns mentioned in Revelation symbolizes a pastor of Babylon. The fruit of this beast represents his words. Those who eat the fruit of the beast return to the flesh even if they began with the holy spirit. These people fall from heaven and are cast down to the earth.

Since people have taken off the holy, living spirit and clothed themselves with the flesh, they are asked to repent and again clothe themselves with the holy spirit (Rv 3:18). We must be awake and stand firmly on the truth so we will not go naked and be shamefully exposed.

Shincheonji, 12 Tribes

Shincheonji,
the 12 Tribes

What is the creation and re-creation of the spiritual and physical heaven and earth?

In Psalms 78, God says that [he will] “open my mouth in parables, to utter hidden things, things from of old.” Jesus came and spoke of the secrets of heaven through parables. At the proper time, the secrets spoken through these parables will be plainly testified to (Jn 16:25).
Things were hidden in parables because of Satan and Satan’s group of pastors.<<== Drag this yellow part. (Mk 4:12)

Today is the era when all hidden parables will be plainly explained and clarified.

We in Shincheonji are the born-again creation (through God’s seed), the re-created people of heaven (Rv 21).

The content of Genesis 1, as examined above, is regarding spiritual re-creation, not physical re-creation. The times of Noah, Moses, Jesus’ First Coming, and Revelation are the times of spiritual re-creation, not re-creation of the physical, natural world. The first heaven and first earth that disappear in Revelation 21 are not the physical heaven and earth. Nor are the re-created new heaven and new earth, a physical heaven and earth. It is the re-creation of the spiritual, religious world. Therefore, there is a spiritual world (former heaven and earth) that ends, and a newly created heaven and earth. Shincheonji, this new heaven and new earth is the promised 12 spiritual tribes. The 12 spiritual tribes are newly created, who have been born again through God’s seed, and are God’s children. When this is fulfilled, all spiritual, religious worlds that existed before Revelation’s fulfillment will end as it is described in Revelation 21. Thus, one era ends, and a new era begins. God creates a new kingdom and new people, that is, his promised kingdom and people. This is the hope of believers, and this is the fulfillment of God’s will and purpose.

Those who have perceived, have complete faith, and have heaven’s knowledge will live in the kingdom of heaven. By keeping the commands of heaven (God’s law), one will live together with God for eternity.

Promise of God & Jesus [Shincheonji Bible Study]

Shincheonji Bible Study:
Promise of God and Jesus

Main references: Jer 31:27, Mt 13, Rv 14, 1:5-6, 5:9-10, 7:9-14 12:10-11, 19:6, 20:1-6

In order to fulfill Revelation, God and Jesus made a promise since the time of the Old Testament (Jer 31:27), and this promise was fulfilled when Jesus appeared at the First Coming to sow the seed (Mt 13) and when he made a new covenant (New Testament).

This New Testament is to establish a new kingdom at the Second Coming by harvesting and sealing the fruits who came from the seed(Rv 14).

These new kingdom and priests, then, are purchased and they receive forgiveness of sins with Jesus’ blood (Rv 1:5-6, Rv 5:9-10, Rv 7:9-14).

After the dragon is overcome with Jesus’ blood and the word of testimony, the era of God’s reign comes (Rv 12:10-11, Rv 19:6).

After seizing and binding the dragon, who had governed the world for 6,000 years, God finally reigns (Rv 20:1-6).

This is Shincheonji, the New Heaven and New Earth, the new kingdom.

Shincheonji Bible Study: Clothes Meaning in the Bible

"Clothes" Meaning in the bible
Shincheonji Bible Study

This Shincheonji Bible Study is continued from last time "To Be Naked In the Bible [Shincheonji Bible Study]" http://nomorenightriver.blogspot.kr/2015/09/to-be-naked-in-bible-shincheonji-bible.html

Main references: Revelation 19:8

When Adam and Eve took off what was of the flesh and became living spirits, they were new creations. They rid themselves of all that was shameful (Gn 2:25).

After they received and ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, however, they were ashamed of their nakedness. They were so afraid that they hid themselves among the trees of the Garden (Gn 3:10).

Although they began with the holy spirit, they returned to flesh (Gal 3:3) when they accepted the serpent’s lies. They were dust (mere flesh) that became living beings by receiving the holy spirit, but ultimately they lost the holy spirit and returned to the flesh?they took off their clothes.

Clothes represent the word of God (i.e. the holy spirit) and righteous deeds done according to the word of God.

  • Revelation 19:8
Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)
